If the PS4 became PS3 compatible wouldn't it just be a matter of porting Dust 514 right over?
They say in order to emulate a system it takes "ten times" processing power in order to emulate the original system. I'm sure the ps4 is ten times more powerful than the ps3.
Would CCP then port our beloved game?
Also PlayStation Now is a streaming service for PS3 games, so in theory Dust could somehow find a way through that?

Dust would actually perform worse if you they did that.
The game would still be run on PS3 equivalent hardware somewhere else, and as a result it would still lag. And since you are streaming it, it would lag with additional delay.
It would quite literally be the worst way to play Dust.
Usually banned for being too awesome.

Pro emulator?
The PS4 isn't nearly powerful enough to emulate the PS3, a very high end gaming PC would barely be able to, if at all. |

If it is "emulated" on PS4 it has the potential of some things being bottlenecked due to the games code thinking there are limitations put in place that don't actually exist. The one benefit we could get is that PS4 might take advantage of faster hard drive/SSD transfer times, even through emulation.
But the only way you're really going to feel the upgrade is if they do a full port, which they truthfully need to do. It opens up a huge stream of new revenue for them. Besides that, pretty much everyone who plays Dust wants CCP Rattati driving this ship, not CCP Z or CCP Wolfman who are working on Legion.
