Best clan in MAG: valor Coalition, we lost just once in "clan battles against red stars"(they won 1, we won 2 :)) after that nobody else were able to beat us.
We made "take those transports weekend" and "pearl harbor" with keq if I remember well.
Good old times of battles, APCs jumping roadblocks, the horrible positions of bunkers in "alieska terminous" and awesome lmg.

Was in the open beta and played till the end. Always in sver. They were so united and ruled the game. Almost always won battles even with not so good weapons. |

This thread explains a lot. Any one of you guys can dominate a pub match. If I have COMs & a squad (not so common lately), I call out threats at the start of a match. I have called out each of your names. I didn't play Mag. I had a work acquaintance telling me about MAG, bragging about his 5+ K/D, and asking me to join him. I politely informed him that playing against toddlers and schoolboys on a console wasn't really anything to brag about. Now I know better.
I was in Eve running my own mining ops and manufacturing supply chains, trying to accumulate wealth so I could sponsor my friends and myself in Dust. I was promising all of my friends billion ISK enlistment bonuses as soon as they connected the economy. I have since put those operations on ice. My time would have been better spent having fun in MAG.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I desperately miss MAG and having trouble finding an enjoyable shooter at the moment.
But there's no way in hell I'd be paying this Kickstarter. The pitch was weak and the info section (not to mention the grammar errors) gives no specifics and full of empty promises. As mentioned before, they don't have the rights to this game, and buying the rights isn't found in the budget they showed us..
Lastly, we have been told nothing of what they want to do aside from "We want to create a new MAG." We haven't been told what they want to change what they're going to keep and so forth.

Most people know me from MAG as CptKirby. I miss that game so much. Most of the guys of KEQ know and groan when I mention it. "Let it got Kirby!" Even my sig is reference to MAG. Got to get those grims over hours yo!

Played all 3, there were a lot of nice people to join with on all of them... Valor was great for the rifles, Raven for the SMG and SVER for the shotgun.
Didn't personally see the point in vetting myself, other than to switch teams (because I'm too lazy for multiple accounts.) Spent a lot of time reviving people, while carrying the tier 2 sniper, killing my way into the objectives with a pistol or smg and the OP knife that NK players can only dream of, lol.
Lets just be glad no one can shoot out of objects in Dust, that ruined many a game... Though I had no problem shooting people that were on parts of the map you weren't supposed to get to, that wasn't so bad.

I'd probably say if you played SVER and used only the Tamsen, you missed everything in MAG. But if I remember right, it wasa big topic back on the MAG forums when it was coming to an end and some of the corps that are still active are based off MAG clans. A few of them aren't as obvious as "war ravens, sver or cryptkeepers" like Ahrendee being RND.
Having veted 9 times in mags there is one tactic I've relied on in Mag that have pulled off only 3 times ever in Dust: using a charge sniper as a shotgun  because when you have no sidearm on a caldari logi and someone's starting to shoot you with their submachinegun it's worth a try right? I''m pretty sure in those 3 instances a "WTF" moment did come out of the mouth of my victim. |

But i mostly used Vipera (space needed for mines).

Hi, vetted 10 times on my main... Wolfdies2day. CecoMachino might have been one of the players who inspired me to make that character. My first impression of the game was just getting stomped over and over by SVER. Slowly learned how to play.

Barely any STB and 843. I've seen Chrome Raptor but the rest of 843 = either gone or just rage quit.
