This was one of my favourite gamemodes from MAG. As an attacker you had to push past enemy positions, get to 2 big crates, plant a charge, guard the charge from the oncoming onslaught of defenders 'til it exploded.
Inside the crate there was a vehicle with a mounted gun which you had to drive away from the defenders to a pick up point on your side of the map. Once the crate was open the defenders objective was to destroy the prototype vehicle so it din't fall into enemy hands.
The attackers had to do this twice with a certain amount of lives while the defenders had infinite lives and just had to stop the attackers
Like rush from battlefield
was pretty fun imo but seeing how ccp have used domination and skirmish as names for gamemodes which were also names for gamemodes in mag yet were nothing alike I won't hold my breath

Nope. It would most likely playout like Headquarters mode from CoD

Did they announce a game mode?
Knowing CCP I kind of just imagine the next game mode to be 2 objective Skirmish

I hope it's a game mode, where you can acquire your own personal planet's district (map in game).
One of the biggest things what I wanted from day 1 was passive, non battle walking in maps. Like "it's my place, so I can go where ever I want". Like in Merc quarters.
I support EVE Legion, but the message was very badly delivered...

You cannot compare MAG to this.
Furthermore the maps are meh with random installations and if CCP is designing the 'target vehicle' then expect it to be badly fit and blow up in 3 hits.
Just don't get your hopes up, by now that should be under control.

with all of the things in new eden that we could acquire like hostages, VIPs, assets, salvage or experimental weaponry and u want to move the objective? fail on top of fail, CCP. u truly suck bros. |

... six months later..

lol yeah cap a LAV. Good luck with that when there would be probs a dude with a swarm launcher 1 hit killing it as soon you try to escape with it. Except they make the LAV that spawns a fully tank fitted with the old LAV stats.
They say when you die you see a white light which then forms the line of:
"GAME OVER! PLEASE INSERT COIN"

Certain amount of lives? That was suppression, there was no life limit in any other mode.
Domination in MAG was far better than Rush in Battlefield. We had mortars and airstrikes in MAG, nothing like that in BF.

The new Acquisition won't feel anything like the MAG one. 'Cause it's just moving point dom.
However that second statement is actually pretty likely.
