When it comes to most modules there is a difference in efficacy across tiers however that is not the case for Vehicle hardeners. Currently from militia to proto the only difference is the cool down but they all offer the same resistance.
This needs to change because the way it is now makes proto tanks seem pointless when you can get the same resistance on a lower tier tank with basic or even militia hardeners and the only penalty is a longer cool down.
So I propose one of two things either go through with the one hardener per fit option or change the efficacy of the hardener throughout their tiers for example
MLT: 20% STD: 20% ADV: 30% PRO: 40%

I kind of agree but it wouldn't work.
Back when they took all the old vehichle mods out and replaced them with the current ones (plus the few hotfix Echo ones) they wanted tanks to be near invinsible when activated then really susceptible when on cooldown, hence the cooldown times being the only difernece in tiers.
Tanks are far too squishy when their relevant mods are off (go drive around in an unmodified tank), changing the numbers would mean PRO tanks would be OP compared to ADV unlike infantry where you can fit any ADV (&most STD) to compete with PRO. |

Oh trust me I know all too well what happens when the hardeners are off also that's why I would prefer the much simpler option of limiting the hardeners to one though I do believe this would be the next best thing. As for the pro tanks being OP to the others would be only slight since you can definitely still fit a complex hardener on the lower tier tanks, you would just have to take up a little more cpu and pg.
