this is all public knowledge and this glitch has been around for a while. simply jump out of a dropship and throw a uplink in the air. said uplink will permanently remain fixed for people to spawn on high in the air.

So as an FYI it's kind of a 'civic duty' to report bugs when they're discovered, not try to publicly extort devs for millions of skillpoints for everyone in your corporation. The fact that you tried to publically extort a dev is just amusing, If I were a dev and people tried pulling this crap with me I'd just ban everyone involved.
Holding back knowledge of a bug can have some pretty bad consequences as well, because if it's found out that you were exploiting the bug you can be banned for it.

Not to my knowledge in dust, in eve however there's been plenty of bans for exploitation of mechanics. Clarion call 3 covers one of the bigger instances of it, where people were exploiting a c6 magnetar wormhole's extreme bonuses to ewar to create superturrets (the game didn't know how to handle turret rotation / ranges going into the negatives). R&K filed a ticket and then asked for enough time to fight people on their own terms (exploit vs exploit), ccp said no, evaluated how long the corporation had been abusing this exploit (~6-9months or so) and ended up banning the entire corp IIRC.
