I've always wanted to help new mercenaries that start dust, as part of the (Learning Collation). I decided to make two channels, the first is "tankers". All tankers are welcome but keep the peace between each other and remember that we are all here to help. The second channel is "dspilots" for all types of pilots. Please everyone be considerate to the players in both channels as we all are here to play the game. Thank you all

A great initiative. How do you plan to get new players into the channel though, inviting randoms from the academy?

I'd suggest merging the channels so it's a general vehicle help channel. Less lag. One big pool of players to get info from instead of two because a lot of vehicle players do both. Squading will be cooler because a lfs or rf# will go out to players that primarily tank or ds. Stuff. Whatever. Just a suggestion.

Thank you all for the feedback, I will merge both channels today. I'm hoping fellow mercs that go to channel will let other pilots, drivers know of the channel. I invite all players to join the channel as neutrals and understand that its not for recruiting and is for squading with fellow drivers and pilots. All new players that are interested in vehicles please ask in chat for a veteran of dust to assist you. Im hoping this will work out, the merging channels name is "vehicles". Thank you all.

"vehicles" channel has been in good order, anyone wanting to squad up or looking for assistance with fittings please let a veteran merc know what you are looking into. I don't ask anyone to leave their corp but do ask that everyone respect the new mercs and all that are in the channel. So far, I am very pleased with the mercs in the channel and I can't wait to hear and see the more mercs to squad up with. Hope to see you soon

Squad Finder might be a great way to get players.
However, you'll have to watch out for squeakers. If you can tolerate them, you're set. |
