The most masochistic weapon in a masochistic game, the PLC embodied DUST 514.
My favorite weapon. Hard to use and therefore rewarding when used successfully.
That's why most PLC videos were a montage: you needed the help of highlights.
But, now, with the myofibril revolution, the proletariat have turned my beloved into a hipster weapon.

I was an Amarr assault before it was cool, I dawned the Ak.0 Scout through its hardships before I gave up. Being the only one takes its tolls, now I join the masses in its fluctuations of glory. Its fun :D

Its definitely way easier than it was.
Used to be that you could simply never rely on the splash damage at all. Anything but direct hits usually meant death.
Now it is just a matter of hitting them with splash(which is almost guaranteed now with easy mode jumps), and finishing them with sidearm of choice.

As long as 5/6 (83%) of infantry AV weapons are Anti Armor based you're never going to achieve vehicle balance CCP

Same, I still remember seeing someone fire it the day they were released gave it a try the next match and have been hooked ever since. By far the most rewarding kills I ever get, as long as I don't over think it I can put hot plasma just about any where.

the plasma was the very first weapon i used................i sucked with it. i just stuck with ScR (was horrible at first) and shotgun, a AR :)

I was Gallente Assault before it was cool. Before the armour buff, before the assault buff, Uprising 1.0 day 1. Been using the same fitting ever since. Now I seen people copying it  Then the Gassault to OP threads came, and the nerf the AR threads, and now look where we are.

You're pretty wrong.
Believe me, I'd notice if the Plasma Cannon got a splash buff and it hasn't, just direct damage. People saying that it is is due to the placebo effect.
Rattati himself stated that the plasma cannon should not be anymore better better at AI than it already is.
