I have proto cal logi n assault.
My question is should I put a RR on the assault or logi and assault RR on logi or assault.
My theory is that the cal assault should have the RR n the logi the ARR. Reason being that the logi will need the assault version cuz he will be closer to the enemy trying to keep the team alive with support.
Please help me out.

I go ARR on logi. RR on assault With shield. ARR on assault with recharge and speed. |

RR for both. It wrecks all & the assault variant feels like it's training wheels for those with no gun game. If you need something thats spits fast in cqc go ACR.
I'm trying to make the grass fabulous but the f**king sticks won't work!

I use ARR on assault, RR for commando (I know you didn't ask that) and breach AR on logi - seems to work out OK. |

Those are all decent choices but the ideal weapon for the Caldari is the Redline.
As long as 5/6 (83%) of infantry AV weapons are Anti Armor based you're never going to achieve vehicle balance CCP

CQB = ARR
Open = RR

RR blows at CQC,but for ranged assault,it's the best weapon.I tried AR all variants vs RR for ranged assaults,it turned out that RR is the best.

Don't use a normal Rail Rifle.
The Assault is far better if you're engaging in CQC or Mid-Range (which is where almost all gun-fights take place), and if you're looking for Long Range combat the Laser Rifle will kill enemies faster at a longer range.

It might anger or offend you, but it's still true.

ARR is the better of the two choices for both suits, IMO.
Why? A hole at range is much less deadly than a hole up close. |

There's literately no reason to run an AR on a caldari assault
