I ve heard a lot of players sayng gunlogi is now unplayable or madrugar is better than it. My solution is switch madrugar to 2/5 slot layout, bring back active reps and 180mm plates, maybe decreasing armour hardner bonus to 35%. What do you think about this?

That would only further the gap between Gunnlogi and Madrugar.

Shield tank - long range artillery, cant be used in cqc compared armor. Rly worked as intended. Rare case...

I think Gunnies are just spoiled from being the uncontested kings of literally everything, and need to get used to changing their tactics.
Blaster Gunnies are hot garbage against other HAVs, just as Missile Maddies are, I'm fine with that.
Missile Gunnies and Blaster Maddies still wreck face when used correctly, so I don't see gunnies losing out here, the last few days I've been running small tank platoons with my corp and the missile gunnies have been performing admirably still.
Rail gunnies though die in CQC now, due to no longer being bullet-proof terminators. This kinda makes me happy, not gonna lie, they are still a royal PITA at range, and have enough high slots that if they range-snipe with both a D-mod and a cooling mod, they absolutely wreck face.
Maddies, as I drive them primarily, I'm still figuring out how I feel about them. AV still keeps them in check and kills them, but at the lower skill levels (using basic rails and no damage mods or cooling mods) they can barely kill each other if using rails. At least in my experience. Also a pair of low level blaster maddies is like watching a cripple fight...

Large missiles, have no splash damage. railguns...well, very low AI capability.

My overall suggestions at this moment is to bring the Gunlogi up to par with the Madrugar fitting wise, and then bring them up or down together not one or the other... As nerfing tends to be completely making something unusable at the moment.

Maybe but we'll have to see I think AV has already gotten a bit better with the addition of the "Halo Jumping".

I think the issue we keep getting is that we are trying to make things equal when they clearly shouldn't be.
Tanks, turrets, suits, light/heavy weapons and sidearms should have a glaring weakness and amazing strong point. You should be able to make up for these weaknesses with mods or play to its strengths using the same mods, or of course, find a balance between the two.
Every suit, vehicle and weapon is starting to blend and become the same. All should be viable, but some should be better in one situation then others.

Railgun is a joke now.. If anything tanks need a buff across the board.. They can cost up to nearly 10x the amount of a proto minmando but if you go to far out you'll die, if you use a hardner you can't shoot(issues happend to me constantly and is why I refuse to go back into tanks) Also I think the blaster clip nerf was unnecessary. Tanks still have a lot of tweaks to be made before nerfing one or the other. I'm glad they're back now, atleast it's got more variety to the game

You mean uprising standard?
Rattati wants the 2/5 for amarr HAVs.
Active reps i would like but for it to really work we would need alot more HP at base and plates and i don't see it happening.

I would agree....Gunnlogis are in the **** now. I wouldn't ask for a maddy nerf....but to buff gunnlogis or shield mods, etc

I saw a tank with 6k shields rolling around in a city which I thought would be a easy kill for the team, but he survived the whole battle.
I would like to see the passive shield regen modules come back that boost base repair per tick.
active and passive modules really need a capacitor feature so they can both have a place among tank fits. Passive mods would lower max cap while active would drain like eve. This would make remote repairs and logi's repping vehicles more handy as well.
I'd also like to see some hull mods that make tanks turn faster and passively increase speed.
We probably can't add a capacitor mechanic to vehicles anytime soon, but I'd be fine with having passive mods increase cooldown times and having multiple active mods decrease duration of modules. Passive mods would include armor plates/extenders and this change could make light and heavy armor repairers differ. |

I would just say reduce the pg/cpu of their tanking modules back down to pre-echo or maybe in between where they are now and pre-echo... There really wasn't a need for that large of a nerf to them...
Now on the other side of things I'd say leave the maddie alone until both tanks are in line with eachother... Then go from there and decide what's next...
