Dear Devs, Here are my observations so far.
The vehicle control on LAVs is pretty wonky. Since they already look like warthogs, they might as well control like them too. As in: left stick thrust, right stick to "aim" at the direction you want to go in. I always thought that was a pretty elegant way to do it.
Quickfire items might be nice. If I want to drop an (e.g.) NanoHive, I have to cycle through all my weapons. Since the weapon cycling is insanely slow as well, this takes about a thousand years. I think there might be a directional button still left that might nicely do for this purpose. Battlefield 3 does this for medpacks too if I remember correctly.
The onscreen indicators. For enemies and objectives are quite bizarre. There's no real way to tell how far the indicated object is away, or if it's behind a wall or cover. My suggestion: show it all on minimap, show the enmy indicators only when the enemy is also actually visible on screen (or real close).
A personal little thing. Special characters in user names (underscores) would be cool.
I'm not sure if this is the most optimal way to voice my feedback. There's some serious finetuning to be done in the movement, weapon swapping and general "feel" of the gameplay. There's an insane amount of potential here though. I can't wait till I get a headset (good voice quality btw!) and my own little corp. |

It wont be any special characters, because it should represend your real name. Whats why you have Name and surname, when creating your character, and you don't need underscore, because you already got space between your name and surname |

I understand how this ties into the origins of Dust in EVE, but I have a feeling lots of other players would just like to use their PSN ID. Likle they do in every other shooter out there. |

That won't work because of the Eve/Dust interaction. In some ways I like it, in others it means there are hundreds of thousands of names unavailable on day 1. |

But, they could replicate their PSN id if they wanted to do so. If the name was still available, and the same character set was allowed. |

I've seen some talk on the forum so far on this topic, and I just wanted to add my two cents. I think we could do with some more incentive for support classes, in the shape of extra SP, ISK or a higher rank on the scoreboard.
I for one, cannot wait to jump in one of them Minmitar Logistics dropsuits, provided it's actually a sensible way to play and contribute to the game. |

Related to this, For any "medic" type of player, better indicators are needed showing downed players. The player who is down might also benefit from an indicator showing if (and from how far away) help is inbound. |

And another one. Why is the score board not based on war points? It makes no sense for the guys with the biggest K/D ratio to be on top, at least not in a game where teamwork and tactics are key. |

Just for beta purposes: it would be nice to know what map type & variation you're playing on, together with some server info. For more detailed reports to the devs. Maybe hide it under the chat button, it does not see much action on my controller as it is now... |
