Well, there are new tanks, good for those who use them.
Now, what about dropships? If there can be more than one kind of tank, why not the same with dropships? Maybe a very slow and heavy armored dropship to engage in a long battle against AV infantry? And what about prototype dropships?
I would love to see this, and Im sure other people want to see it too.

My python was ruined with the unnecessary shield hard nerf.
Why not limit shield hards and un nerf it?
I'd like to see a heavy python...

I've been waiting too. And the fact that HAV and LAV changes have finally shown up in a Hotfix/Update is GREAT news.
(We haven't had ANY vehicle-related changes since before 2014, not counting some performance stat tweaks on the HAV).
Hotfix Echo is the best indication that your Dropships (OUR Dropships) are going to be reintroduced very shortly. (The final sign will be a thread discussion created by the devs.)

If and when DS are tweaked you can bet the only difference will be cpu/pg changes for fitting and even then the ADS may not get that advantage.
Would love ro see specific DS mods though such as a small blaster mod to make it hit better (or at all) and further.
Death is a serious business. So is running a shoddy, half-baked game company.

I hope so, I want a better dropship, one that can take damage during a fight without running away as soon as a swarm hits me. Now, dont get me wrong, Im not complaining about AV weapons, I guess they are okay, but fighting against infantry is really hard unless you are very very very close to the ground because we cant see them that well. So, if the dropships could get some punishment and stay in the fight longer, this wouldnt be a big issue.

See https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2668202#post2668202 that was my temporary idea for a solution with our dropships. Hopefully though they'll re-introduce the Logistics variants again, like the Eryx-class Caldari Dropship, except this time
hopefully they'll have fixed the remote shield-repper so we can rep our vehicles shields from a relatively safe distance.
The built in CRU was there too.
Python pilot, troop-transport specialist and an all-round ballbag.
