God! 1 hour after Hotfix echo was deployed GD was full only of threads about Myofib. Everyone was crying, asking for a nerf, leaving the game forever, cursing CCP.
Calm down!
Let the game settle, let everyone try them, see they are not that useful and go back to other modules.
Then, and only then we will see if there is something wrong with them. And we will ask, eventually to nerf/Fix them.

They literally have a sort of negative stacking penalty. The more you have, they stronger they become... That is broken as ****. Something needs to be done to them.

The fact is that someone is jumping reeeeeeeally high he is: 1 low on hp 2 damaging himself 3 slowly falling down while everyone can see him

It seems like a nice option for clearing an over watch position or low roof top without having to call in a DS. Other than that, it's pretty easy to kill a paper thin fit that is following a known trajectory.

Agreed. I don't see any problem with them... the slow falling arc makes it so predictable where they land so they are easy to take down... plus considering the jumper has sacrified his highs to stack modules means he has paper thin ehp.
The only annoyance I have is when they run straight at you and jump up over you because I can't turn around fast enough.. I think this is more a controller sensitivity issue more than anything else but I agree , within a few weeks, apart from a few niche playstyles, like the "jump and flaylock/mass driver" stuff people are trying (which doesn't work that well anyway).. people will go back to looking for the next FOTM...

lol. Yeah, I've always been astounded by the immediate backlash of any new addition. Whether it's broken or working as intended, people are going to spam it just because it's new and shiny. All things considered though, it's a novelty---a fun one at that. Sure, a jumper may have a perceived advantage in access points (leaping over and behind, second level structures, etc.), but as already mentioned in ALL these threads, trajectories are very predictable, damage has not increased, SPEED has not increased, and damage applies to the fall (compounded by the lack of slots to compensate, if maxing the jump).
Having hardly any skills in this, my jumps are relatively short so I may be wrong on this part; but it felt as though my jump climb ended the moment I released the button. It seemed very difficult to maintain a jump, switch my thumb to my right analog to aim and hit with any consistency. I'm talking AR---anything more than single projectile or SG. I assume a lot, but seems like weapon choice may be hindered with the fit. I doubt I'll do any more with it so I guess it doesn't matter, just felt awkward.
When I first started a scout, I had to get used to watching my six and the minimap due to relatively low HP. It took adjustments, but I was able to adjust. Last night when I got home to finally screw around with it all, it was fun for a few minutes. Then I got bored. Then I went back to my A-Sent. HMG and waddled my heavy ass around shooting whatever I could again. Only now, I know to look up from time to time. I can always have a scout fit for just this, jumping around cloaked to infiltrate. I doubt I'll have much use for it other than that.
I agree. Let it play out and give it a rest already. =(

Yea I worry that after all the forum posts, CCP will nerf them and make them useless again. Hell I only just realised towards the end of the day when I was playing yesterday that myo`s were doing more than just give me jump height.....

Actually even with a stacking penalty it isn't until you get to 'extreme numbers' of four and 5 modules that their effectiveness goes down dramatically. They do have stacking penalty.
