I run a Amarr light dropsuit with a scrambler rifle and nova knives. I think a damage mod would make a scrambler rifle that much more OP. As for nova knives... well...

First off - Thanks CCP.
Being honest though, a 4% damage mod BPO doesn't have much value to me personally, however I DO like the fact that it is a universal damage mod. I might try and make use of it.

A damage mod for EVERY weapon type? I like that!
Instead of having to use two different types of damage mods for light and sidearms, I can use either one or two for both. Doesn't cost isk either since its BPO so that's a nice bonus!
As for 1000 warbage components...I don't think that was quite enough to be satisfied. Maybe 2,500 or 3,000. it was 5 million clones after all..
20 decryptor's keys is nice. Probably could've given more but 20 works.

CCP Frame wrote:And so the Five Million Clone Challenge event has come to an end with astonishing results! Our players have decimated the goal reaching the total of 5.000.000+ clones killed in New Eden at 9:41 AM UTC on March 11th. Read the full report, and find out what's the BPO reward right here.
The event details specifically said that each character, and not each player, that wins at least 3 battles during the event period willreceive the reward. Because of this i Idecided to put in a little more effort and grind out a few wins with my low level alts, who both could use it more than my main. When I logged in today only one character received the rewards though. Will this be fixed, or do players who took the time to qualify multiple characters be penalized due to poor wording? Additionally, of the 20 keys that I did get, I was only able to use 19 because when I used the 16th key, it ticked down 1 key(from 5 to 4), then I got a spinning blue wheel for a full five minutes, then it ticked down another key(from 4 to 3) and gave me somethingbim not going to use. Strongboxes are a game of chance and I understand that, so no complaints about the item(I'll sell it when auction house comes out) but losing a key for no reason is pretty frustrating

But on the fitting screen where the heavy and light (but not sidearm ) damage multipliers are shown, it doesn't display the bonus.
Hopefully just a "typo" rather than a bug that actually affects gameplay.
Horrifying? That's a strange way to spell "romantic".

You say that it gives damage increase to all weapons, including light, heavy and side arm.
I notice that when building a drop suit with the module, in the STATS section that it does not give a damage increase to light or heavy weapons. Is this a typo or bug for now and are we to believe that it is still giving the damage increase anyway |

This will be my first post and as well as first event I have taken part of in dust. The following is about my opinions, and feelings about the event. also with possible suggestion for the future events.
Regarding the rewards: I will be honest and I guess I had assumed or misinterpret the details of the challenge. I was under the impression that each character would get the rewards (or at least the a copy of a bpo for themselves). My misinterpretation came from the bottom portion of the challenge, under the " A few notes and conditions:"
Quote: GÇó Active accounts for this event are defined as any character on that account that plays and wins at least 3 matches during the event period. in relation to the above portion
Quote:During the March 4 11:00 UTC - March 11 11:00 UTC period, should the total number of clones destroyed in New Eden reach 5.000.000, every account that won at least three battles during the event period, shall receive the following items on March 12, 11:00 UTC:
To me, I read this that each character under the main account would be understood as a separate account (seeing that the nature of each character under the player's account is separated and that none could trade or communicate between them and in itself a new character in the dust universe) . -So in ending I was hoping for each character would have been rewarded separately and had the rewards directly seeded into each character's separate inventory. [personally the way I understood it and with the rewards given as the way I mention above would been a great way to promote creating and playing more character in your main account beside the prime character (which in this phrasing will refer to the only character that will receive passive sp) and testing different skill progress or alternate set ups (due to the nature that each character gains their own separate sp, isk, etc.] + possible suggestion for future events: my possible suggestion for future events and rewards is to possibly set up a system to be able to supply the rewards for events into each character directly instead of the main overall account. This way people could, and possible will play each character under the main overall account. This also help avoid any worries about giving multiple rewards to one account to give to each character as they please and the possibility of giving way too much items/power to one character. (I'm unsure if this may prove very difficult but I believe its possible with the awesome things you did including the daily missions [which do run on only a character to character basis since each character has their own daily missions])
In regard to the rewards itself including bpo: I feel the rewards are amusing and fun. (please note I guess I'll consider myself still a new play relatively ) but to add a bpo of a module seems like an interesting addition to the market or universe because we already have bpo of fitted loadouts, vehicles, suits, and weapons. What was missing? a bpo of a module [please note here I'm referring to bpos that are not militia since those have been introduce from an earlier patch or update for purchase.] - the 1000 warbarge: For me I felt that 1,500 would have been the perfect amount. 1,000 is still great. (this is with my knowledge of only 1 level of warbarge. it seems to me each new thing after level 1 cost 2k warbarge component and up and worry that it might take several months to get the next level of warbarge or subsystem since I'm guessing it would probably be 10k and up.) -regarding the 20x hack keys: personally no complaints there. good amount to get lucky... or not but can fill out someone's inventory with nice things or nice things to sell for isk.
regarding the challenge I feel it was a great challenege. it was fun (though I admit sometime frustrating at times). I admit I thank ccp for extending the challenge; I felt that 5 million clones might not be a possible goal under a week but within a week I can say we could, (and we did) do the challenge). (reason for the week is to take into matter of everyday regular life and things could happen to fluctuate the amount of people online throughout the week. so a week could show more of a good number and statistics of who ( eg diversity of people and playtimes)and how many play through the course of a week.
Last remarks Thanks for the event thanks for the rewards thanks for the game
and here a toast for the future of dust 514 (players and creators of the game) as we progress, learn, and grow together.
PS. also thank you to all who participate in the forum and to those that took the time to read my comment ( I admit for first post I didn't think I would write this much)

I was disappointed and hope it gets corrected Update: this apparently got "corrected" in the worst way. Instead of dealing out the rewards that were earned or even coming back and saying "hey sorry that was a typo", they altered the event page to read "every player account that won at least three battles..." And then didn't say anything. They at least could have come and explained that the original text was a mistake and tell us it was only one per account. Instead ninja-editing and pretending we won't notice is... Well, feels dishonest. I have to agree with that. The wording for the event and during the event was character, not account. Had I known I would have created two more free accounts and played them just so I could transfer the items to my kids after player trading was added.
Even in banking we honor our typos. Heck, even the grocery store honors it's typos. They don't turn around and say: "sorry, that was supposed to be 5,99 after the discount not 2,99, you have to pay 5,99" they give it to you for 2,99 and correct the typo for the future.

A few notes and conditions:
Only clones actually destroyed are counted in public contracts, and not deaths. This means that if you kill someone that is revived, and then kill them again, this only counts as one destroyed clone, not two. Clones killed by friendly fire are not counted towards the total. Shooting your friends in the back is junk data. Active characters for this event are defined as any character that plays and wins at least 3 matches during the event period.
Look, CCP, you might have meant per Account, but that is not what you said nor how it could be reasonably interpreted by what you said. I, and others, understood it to be "Active Characters" and "players".
