Anytime I mention on the forums the need to increase ISK payouts a lot of people flip **** about it and I don't understand why seeing how an increase in ISK payout will benefit everyone.

Then I got to thinking that maybe these people bitching are protostompers who don't want people to be able to afford the prototype gear because it would make the game more difficult for the protostompers.

Any thoughts on this, people?

Protostompers would love an increase in ISK payout, it would make it easier for proto stomping to be lucrative.

What I want is an increase in ISK so that if I only die 1 or 2 times in a match and I come in first place on my team (or second place because a lot of times a logi takes the top spot) I can be compensated for my loss and rewarded for my efforts.

Also, I would like for more people on my team to be able to run proto gear especially during a protostomp. Protostomps right now are usually horrible but they can be a lot more fun if more people had proto gear to use in those situations.

Listen, nothing makes me happier than seeing another proto squad on the other side.

We go crazy, clone eachother, have a great match, and get HUGE payout at the end (Max I've gotten from a pub is 1 Mil ISK)

Please, increase it. If more people run proto, these happen more often, and the payouts will be even BIGGER.

Pokey you bring up some valid points and one of two things will happen , either A : The payouts are increased and now not only do you have the rich get richer ... hence more proto at their whim & more often , reaction : more proto stomping because you will never be ale to match their bank so while your able to field proto now , now the enemy or those who you talk about OP , can now field proto at a 5 to 1 advantage where before it might have been 2 to 1 , hell it might be 8 to 2 and not 5 to 1 , so while it's easier for the OP and others , it also becomes easier for those whom the OP is mentioning .

B : The OP becomes the proto stomper even if he's solo like he has claimed , he still now finds it easier to do what he now claims he can't , he doesn't realize it because now he's just fielding proto in hopes of seeing pro on the field and in preparations to counter said pro but he might not face any that match but now he's in response mode and while doing so wreaks and finds it easier to kill and not be killed ( so is said but is not true in all instances ) so now it becomes a habit that's not even noticed .

Most of us understand the outcome and like they payout glitch from earlier in the season where people were happy but complaining at the same time , the same thing will occur once again and you will realize that you just can't change people , they will do what they want and like and that's one of the greatest parts of the game but at the same time it's what a lot of players just don't like or get , the fact that you have such freedoms . I like it that way because it's cause and effect .

Now because it's easier to field it doesn't mean it will stop and at the same time you just made it more easier for the one's that you had a problem with in the first place .

I don't care , raise it ... I stay broke ( I run solo for the most part ) but at the same time I use mostly ADV fits so maybe now I can start to build my bank like the big boys / girls , I liked the payout glitch but at the same time ... more people fielded PRO and more frequently so if that's what you want OP you might be opening up a bigger can of worms then you can handle .
