The only reason you would use respecs these days is if you got bored with what you trained into just like trying something else for the fun of it. This is a game to have fun, people always accuse others to be chasing the FOTM, they get too butthurt. It's a game, I respected once because until recently I've never had a role. Bought the elite pack and just figured eh, std suits but all the weapons I want. Had a lot of weapons and my core skills maxed out. Now my role is a minja scout, I mainly used my dragonfly scout and dren escout (I know same suit diff skin) so I figured to give it a go. Might respect again but to better suit my Apex tiger scout. I maxed out the ion pistol and I hardly use it. Wanna max out my smg instead and everything probably stay the same.

Never used either much anyway, I just got the rr because it was blatantly OP, and the LAVs because I used to enjoy hunting flying pigeons down from the ground. You are not buying power like you are with Boosters (more SP = more better), Components (5% damage boost), or even Aurum weapons (if you can use it sooner with less SP, you are buying power). Hell, Jara can be seen as buying power because 15% more money means being able to get 15% more gear which is power. 3. If you do not partake, you don't feel left out of something. This is similar to 2 but your friends saying "yay, I got 15,000 for that match!" when you only received 7,000 AND did better makes for sadness. 4. It doesn't punish experimentation. 5. It rewards smart investment. If you are that person that doesn't spend away your SP and instead put it in places that is going to do the most good, you get to save. I will say this: I would love to have Iron Wolf Saber or any of the CPM or DUST devs talk to themselves from like 18 months ago when it was "We will never have respecs in the game; we are all against it" to what it is now. I can answer that one , it was myself and others who put up a valid argument about why this should be because clearly all the CPM's were against it as well as the bulk of EVE / DUST / VET players who were just bitter because Dust was on the console and not directly on PC , there wasn't enough EVE in Dust , FF helped them to flex their muscles with the announcement of the transfer to PC and old habits are hard to kill , just look at all the nerf posts , people get stuck on a plane and want others to feel the same , like there's no room for elevation but that's just foolish . I used my 10 Respec's to understand the game , use different tactic's and understand the strong suits and weaknesses of every role / suit and to help me not get so frustrated as to why I was killed by what at a particular time . When I first started I understood nothing , did squad and learned from trial and error . Became frustrated because I didn't understand the mechanic's of this game . You people can use math all day and that just doesn't translate over to the battlefield in most cases and this explains why people that know math and the game still get frustrated as to why such happens in certain instances , it's like the Mayan's who were skilled like the Oriental's and Egyptian's as to calculating so precise you would wonder how they knew but there are also variables involved that the math of this game just doesn't compensate for or adjust to unless someone catches it as a result of reports for a lot of you to the DEV's . Math can't tell you everything but it can give you a skeleton composite . It will direct you and guide you to the solution but that's self YOU as the individual have to acknowledge . Now I know how and who to approach and what to do in accordance to what weapon is being used in what situation . I can't get mad when I die anymore because I understand suits , weapons , mods , bonuses and vehicles as well as AV and grenades and as a Logistic troop this info is vital as to battle strategies and tactics . You don't need a respec to spec into FOTM as the OP would lead one to believe . Doubts are like flies and should be treated as such and crushed .
