Seems legit... Considering I beat The Order in 6 hours 53 minutes. And they made me walk through the entire game.
Seems Rockstar has created more content in 2 years then some do in 4-6...
And Rockstar content so attention to detail where you can feel the passion oozing out.... Not like DUST where we have merc quarters for 2 years and we can't even sit on the couch that you could sit on in EVE years prior...

Destiny was claimed for months as going to kill Dust. That went away like 2 days after the beta release and half the people were back within 2-3 weeks maximum.
I will tell you what is 100% going to kill Dust no matter what anyone says.

Slowly succeeding for what now? 3 years? Fanfest didn't kill Dust. It didn't even have an impact on player numbers. Nothing can kill that game, unless CCP pulls the plug. Which they no doubt will do in a year or 2 or so, when they switch to Legion.

I have to admit. DUST is still going strong. I will admit there have been a few times, that I thought something else would destroy this game, and to date, nothing has. Hopefully it will follow in the footsteps of EVE. Super ****** at first, and slowly getting better over the years

Many of us are still here just because it is hard to let go off all the time and money that has been invested into out characters.
As far as the game getting better I do not think that is going to happen without a jump to PC. I say PC because consoles seem to be on their way out to me but that is only opinion. |

Yeah, a little bit on the time investment side. But what keeps me coming back, is being emotionally invested in this game? I do agree, this game needs a step up in hardware. I honestly don't know why it isn't being ported to PS4. It would make the game so much better. Also the idea of this game running on Unreal4, just makes sense. However, I dont really know if Unreal is that great of an engine. All the other games I've played seem to have similar problems. Dunia seems to do great, especially for Farcry. Most importantly I really don't think porting to PC is a very good idea. A lot of us stopped playing when they proposed project legion. Did not go over well

Dust is already a ghost town and has been for some time. It is following the same path as MAG did. A small but rabid few diehards keeping it going. Props to those diehards also. You love a game and you play the heck out of it even when other folks have moved on. There is nothing wrong with that. Enjoy the heck out of Dust until they pull the plug. Just do not act like a fanboy. I really hate fanboys regardless of the game. |
