That's the whole point.
Try battlefield awareness; it'll fix your problem.
Guys, we need to stop calling MU a 'matchmaker' when it's actually a 'teambuilder'.
And I want to play FE:A now. Damn.

the fact that their stationary and vehicle are mobile perfectly justifies the damage they output. just move away and repair if your taking too much damage

You have to be pretty stupid to be flying in the enemy home turf like that. It's their base for a reason.

The only issue I have with them is that for a free installation that infantry take for granted, especially those in the redline (which should never be Railgun turrets) they have fair power [fine] but have insanely high raw HP values which means taking them down is bastard at the best of times.
Now I'm not saying lets make them super weak because they need to present a threat on field however I'd like these kinds of turrets to have some more interesting mechanics behind them while making say "disabling" them more achievable.
I'd like to see a Reinforcement Mechanic on them whereby they are assets that simply cannot be destroyed but instead having less HP can be disabled by fire for a set duration 120-180 seconds and revert to a neutral status after which time they become able to be hacked again.
To prevent WP farming I'd halve the pay out of disabling them.
In this manner the assets are still useful to infantry though they required a more hands on approach in order to protect and reap the benefit of as well as being permanent fixtures on the map that infantry can exploit, especially if a vehicle pilot is not aware of the area At the same time all light turret vehicles become more capable of engaging and destroying turrets on the map.

and who the **** are you?
flying above enemy turf means the redline turret can't angle up that far to hit me, and i would ALSO be in the redline. I would have to be flying around the objective in a domination for the turret to hit me. Then there are the anti-armor suits that think anti-armor means dropsuits and not vehicles until they try and lock onto infantry with a swarm launcher. They always are pesky...
