Madrugar is already (arguably) the superior tank. I've used gunlogi time and time again, but the HP it has, and the low turret turning just doesn't cut it. I've made arguments by fact before, CCP will not listen. So, I'm going to make an example, by helping you guys. All of the blow have worked before with me, tested and approved rule 1: plates are for scrubs. just simple. even with armor composition 5, plates are not worth your time. rule 2: always fit atleast 2 heavy reppers to your madrugar. dual rep is non-negotiable. On somas, one rep may be used. rule 3: to beat rail tanks, just go behind them. This is a simple strategy, blasters do more damage the closer they are, all you have to do is keep the rail turret turning at a high pace. this can be done by criscross, faking movement, bumrushing, and bunker-hiding. rule 4: to take out infantry, tap the fire button like a combat rifle. this reduces your spread, and makes your ammo more accurate. rule 5: to beat swarmers, go back to your teammates. your teammates are always hungry for a free kill, and swarms are the best way to do it. rule 6: to beat missile tanks, back up. Sneaky missile tanks think they're cool, but in reality they will miss ~40% of the time if you back up into them. rule 7: last low slot is your polish.if you're planning on shooting infantry, make it a hardener and a fuel injector. if you're going to slay tanks, make the low slot a pg upgrade with a damage mod and fuel injector. Ltd. 510	Posted - 2015.03.07 11:29:00 - [5] - Quote as much as I PREFER using the madruagr the gunnloig is superior. not in speed. but due to its fitting capability and how little AV is strong vs shields and of course its stupid turning rate. the gunnlogi has less base EHP than the madrugar yes......but when you include its fitting capability it can have MUCH more ehp than a madrugar. by fitting a shield hardner/extender some other module (shield booster....cough. I love this) adding in a high level proto turret for damage....look at spare power grid/cpu. enough fitting capability left over for both a heavy rep/hardner. (***** railguns) example of one of my raillogis. (including my skills for this) brick cannon gunnlogi particle cannon complex heavy shield extender complex shield hardner basic heavy shield booster (ironically has the same cooldown time as the complex hardner) enhanced heavy armour repair basic armour hardner. glass cannon gunnlogi particle cannon 2xcomplex railgun damage amplifiers basic shield hardner basic heavy armour rep basic armour hardner devastator gunnlogi (missile tank) xt-201 missile launcher complex shield hardener enhanced shield booster complex missile damage amp enhance heavy armour repair basic (or was it enhanced) power gird upgrade. now for some madrugar fittings lolcannon (railgun madrugar) particle cannon fuel injector spare high complex heavy armour rep basic armour hardner complex cpu upgrade Landmaster (my favourite fitting) Ion cannon complex blaster damage amplifer enhanced fuel injector complex heavy armour repair enhanced armour hardner complex cpu upgrade anti-armour troller (missile madrugar) basic fuel injector spare high complex heavy armour rep basic armour hardner complex cpu. Ltd. 510	Posted - 2015.03.07 11:38:00 - [6] - Quote continued from above..... weith a lot of fits for the madruagr you have to sacrifice a low slot for a cpu upgrade. the maddy is severly limited in fitting due to its low cpu of 475. asnd with a complex cpu upgrade brings it to a still low 576. its power grid is never an issue. however the main difference is that the gunlogi hasd only roughly 200 less powergird and basically doubled cpu. as for actual piloting the gunnlogi is slower but has a very high turn rate and when coupled with turing the turret in conjuction with the body allows you to even track blaster maddys attempting to get behind you. this isn't bad. but given that when combined. the slow tracking of the rail turret is negated and can be abused (guilty of doing this with both rail/missile turrets).....don't even let me get started when you have blaster prof 5 and thow it on a gunni.... as for av. the maddy has to deal with swarms/forges/av nades/ jihad jeeps/railguns/missiles the gunnlogi has plasma cannons (these hurt quite a bit)/ flux grenades and large blasters. even in a gunnlogi vs maddy figth with any turret the gunnlogi has so many ways to be fitted......mostly double shield hardeners which is complete bullshit. compared to the madruagr which at most struggles even with a complete basic fitting to have even 2 or 1 with a heavy rep. the gunnlogi is not only capable of having high end turrets with stong defences/viability for any situation/versatility but it can have enough fitting left to fit small turrets. usally the gunnlogi dosnt sacrifice slots for this. unless it wants high end large/sml turrets. the maddy struggles to be fitted with just a high end turret and no modules. to sum it up short. the maddy only really needs a cpu buff and the gunnlogi reduced powergird. (slightly reduced cpu) or armour modules need to be easier to fit. *Elite Gallenten Soldier*

This is much like how giving people advice about how to ride a bicycle, does not change the fact that it is still slower than a motorcycle, even if you personally are better at riding a bicycle. Therefor the only actual evidence you presented was indeed anecdotal, which was the whole point of my initial post. EDIT: I apologize if I came off as rough, but there is a lot of qualitative and quantitative evidence backing up the fact that the Madrugar had serious deficiencies compared to the Gunnlogi. Even if your personal experience says otherwise, the vast majority of other testimonies and the actual numbers themselves, lend to the opposite conclusion from what you had. Because you're in the redzone, you don't have to worry about people coming up behind you, you can shoot through the floor allowing you to just poke your nose over a cliff to shoot at people. But out on the roads, it's damn near useless against a gunnlogi, since you can just drive around it and shoot it up the arse... Also, missiles will kill it with very little effort.

Gunnlogis are suffering from overly expensive fitting on modules which is hurting their overall capabilities. So yes I agree they are inferior to the Madrugar currently. I think we need to drastically drop the PG cost of shield boosters, get Regulators properly in the low slots, and do something about the disparity in duration/cooldown vs Resistance between armor and shield hardeners. The reason you see them everywhere now is because Gunnlogis were also nerfed. So now Maddy is simply superior to the Gunnlogi. What we need to do is buff Gunnlogis so that both are seen on the battlefield. I would suggest a simply CPU/PG buff for them and see how that goes. I can build a goddamn powerful Gunnlogi in my fitting screen... I just don't have the resources to run it.
