Was it an armoured based heavy??? If so think about the ScR vs. shielding.

Why did that heavy get caught outside where his HMG could be out ranged?
Stay indoors and in areas with limited sight lines and anyone coming in will be in your wheelhouse. If you are in the open, it better be in a vehicle or with a logi train following you.

I've had this happen to me we several times in CQC. The times when I have killed said minass usually ends up overheating my hmg and I die to his buddies.
Best thing to do is to stay indoors with a group (not necessary a squad) in a area which will reduce his strafing capabilities. ie. Tight corriders.
I find your lack of heaviness... disturbing...

That also and Assault Rifle kills Heavies faster then a Rail Rifle.

before it was buffed, the Minassault was crap. I would know, i've played with it since I started.
Although it is *slightly* op right now, it's pretty great.

OP is right, but 95% percent of this community love their crutches.
I'd rather the suit have more ehp, and less hit detection immunity.

I'm not talking about medium/long range. I'm taking about short - CQC range. I find for myself harder to kill an advanced min assault than a proto heavy with logi. |

Um, bruh. My Sentinel Ak.0 can take on 2 MinnyAsses and survive, slaughter them with a Boundless, and eat cake off their spazzing bodies before terminating them.

The combat rifle was designed to eat armor and have a high rate of fire. It coincide and compliment with the speed in which the Minmatar work, making them a great adversary for the formidable armor tanked Amarr heavy. You get close stay right on top of their flank and melt that fatty.
Makes sense to me.
Keep your flank access down by using choke points to keep the Minmatar's advantages to a minimum.
