but i know they lie...
If they removed all records of everyones KDR, who here would be happy, and who would throw a tantrum and quit dust?

Why should the death matter if us clones keep coming back? Why does the kills matter if they keep coming back? It is a meaningless struggle, us clones, the only thing that matters is if we win. We fight, because that is what we do. We conquer because that is what we do! We die because THAT IS WHAT WE DO! Do not, do, not care about your kdr, because it is nothing. It is a construct of vanity.

KDR does matter.. Assaults are slayers WP don't matter kdr does for them...
Heavies slay they don't WP farm so kdr matters to them..
KDR for logis do not matter.
ADS/Tank, kills matter, sometimes WP for those who use ads to get links.

Although an efficiency rating would be much better.
Efficiency Rating would put together your KDR, and WLR.

KDR matchmaking does that.

Make them pay AUR to be able to view their KDR for a limited amount of time, maybe a month or a week. Then, CCP would get all the funding they could ever need!

I would feel better with an efficiency rating that factors in ISK Destruction/Loss, Win/Loss, and maybe even Objectives hacked/CounterHacked.

You want a high KD/R to get into a "corp"? Just fake it. Very easy to do. It's a metric with no net gain, nor any real information attached to it.

keep the KD/R stat
it gives players a gauge of how good they went in battle, and gives some players a reason to play dust/spend money on it
i had a goal when i was playing to get a 10 KD for a week, with 2k+ kills. It wasn't easy but i got it on the 4th try.
^just an example, but guys the KD stat means little
