I know this has been discussed before. Just throwing it out there again. Militia Only Game Mode. Make this happen please.
Last night I played on an alt that apparently I had never played on before. Had no WP or SP at all so I was tossed into Academy. Fun times for all, let me tell you. I enjoyed those few hours more than most. I would enjoy being able to take my normal character into a similar type of game. Not because I want to stomp people below my skill level but because it is a very nice even playing field. Plus the people who cant stand proto equipment can play this instead. Also great for newbies fresh out of academy that want to continue developing their skills without having to compete against people that have so many SP it seems like they have overpowered advantages.
Anyway +1 for Militia Only Game Mode please. This will solve so many problems at once it's not even funny. The only funny part is why it hasn't been done already. If there is a specific issue holding this back please enlighten us!

KDR matchmaking fixes everything but the stupid purple Quafe stuff.

I run MLT MD Gal Med and still kill protos.
And all MLT mode would be cool, but we have one, called academy.

lol somebody didnt really read the post :) no we don't what we have is called academy. Its not an MLT only game mode, it is a training mode for players with under 10k WP and therefore not for more than probably 5% of player base. Its also useless for the people who need it most which are newbies who have only 11k WP. So not relevant comment but thanks for trying anyway :) |

I've mentioned an 'Academy+' game mode where vets can go with noobs to let them get used to the game where only MLT gear cna be used as a kinda stepping stone to the full brutality of regular pubs

Yep this is exactly what I am getting at. Certainly not trying to take any credit for the idea this is not a new one that I came up with I just want to see some renewed support for the concept! +1 |

I agree that KDR matchmaking would be better than the current system. It would pitt similarly skilled players against each other. But it would do nothing to fix the equipment gap between people who have 1 million SP and people who have 50 million SP. So again, this is not the same idea, it is a different attempt to fix a similar problem.
Splitting up the player base is something to consider, I agree. But that is only one factor and it shouldnt be the deciding one. For anyone that concerned about fragmenting an already fragmented player base... I would argue lets take out one of the defunct game modes we have and replace it with a better one, whether it is this game mode or something else. |

I would enjoy it because it would be truly the best way to put skill to test and because any and only militia is actually very hard to fit
