Back when tanks looked and felt wonderful.
Dust tanks feel sterile now. No exlosive forces, no smoke/steam from the barrels, or plasma burn off........ no impact damage, etc.

God I miss how pretty explosions used to be back in chrome . I also miss the old bubbles from flux grenades .

Also I haven't noticed it in a long time but.... didn't the old AR have an effect when firing that a small plasma spary/orb appeared.....damn that looked cool.

I remember when every ar had a scope well visor interface . but ibcant thinknofbthe visual effect your speaking off , granted I ran a most exclusively heavy and tanker right through chrome.

What I don't miss, the hellish tanks. I can deal with the tanks of today, not those spawns of Satan back then. I'm glad the tanks are pretty stale today, but I still hate them.

That's entirely because you are either facing Railguns which require pretty decent aim and have so explosive charge, missiles which arguably are rather good on most fronts, or the blaster [nerfed from what it was from 150.1 ->136.5] and given absolutely random dispersion that relies entirely on luck, even when tap firing to pick off a target at range......
I miss having AV engage me at 150m+ and me being able to fire and kill them with equal efficiency.

Yeah I'd be having slugging matches with guys like Senator Snipe [ second to none the most infamous Minmatar FW AV to this date] from half a map away, he'd be trying to push me back, and I'd be trying to put a couple of rounds into him all the while inching closer to where he was since he was a damn small target.
This is the reason Manus peak remains my all time favourite map. None of this luck crap it was their AV skill vs my module activation and aim.
