After about a 6 month hiatus, I decided to log in and play a few rounds. I'm pleased with a lot of what I see, such as:
- New maps and structures (nice to have to change up my game plans a bit)!
- Assault suits don't suck @ss (especially those Minies--glad to see them throwing down, and the greater variety of fittings in general)!
- So much less vehicle spam across all play modes!
- REs (yeah, no changes here, but I can't knock a good thing--got a 5-for-1 last night which nicely and falsely inflated both my KDR and ego)!
- Daily missions (free stuffs just for playing a few rounds... WUT?!)!
- Warbarges (still figuring out the significance of this new mechanic, but whatevs--spaceship Spaceship SPACESHIP!!!)!
- DNS seems to have disappeared!
- Scouts got hops (seriously, I feel like fricken Usain Bolt)!
- BPOs are back (told you it didn't negatively effect the game economy)!
- Faster load times (maybe I'm just imagining this, but I feel like I was queued up for each match in a fraction of the time it previously took)!
- More exclamation marks!!!!!!!
To be sure, I still feel a bit like an abused kitten re: Fanfest 2013, but I gotta give credit where credit is due. During my hiatus I mostly played DnD, the Souls games, and tried a few other shooters, but none of them compares to the Dust experience. Such a frustrating situation, like breaking up with a crazy person that you know isn't good for you BUT DAT FREAK THICKNESS. I'm having so much fun, I'm almost considering PLEXing one of my EVE toons. Almost.

BPO's are back because CCP wanted money and is no longer concerned about a long term player run economy.
MinmatarAssaults are just good because everyone is abusing their terrible connections which is sad because I genuinely like the suit.
Put your flags up in the sky.

You'll enjoy the game more if you stay off the forums and away from the toxic community, as with most online games and the associated forums.
It's how my corp is constantly happy.

Yeah, methinks you are correct. I'm about to leave my job and am just looking for ways to kill time before I leave work. Probably better spent building a new DnD character or something. |

My group has been pleasantly pleased with 5ed. We had played nothing but 2ed before 5th. Lol@4ed |
