I have several of these apex suits but not one of them has the weapon on that I would prefer. I would like to suggest that maybe we could be able to select the weapons for the suit. Wait 1 second before you start making complaints. I mean the choose of that races spersific weapon such as. Lets say the nomad assault, you would have the option between combat rifle or assault combat rifle . Maybe even for the side arms but I'm not if that would work with the amount of side arms

Hmmm I like it :) I believe you're on the right path but, CCP put kincats in gal fw not min so min will suffer :/

Kinetic Catalyzers are a Gallente module... they need it because armor-plates reduce run - speed, and gallentes need it for CQC. 
Minmatars use KitCats just for fun.

There are some threads where I read Rattati (sp?) Is looking into whether to allow you to change certain gear on the Apex suits.
This would give me an incentive to get one.
I don't think they will do it though b/c making the suits more efficient might make them too good (the original idea was that they'd be proto but with mediocre gear)

I have to disagree.
The suits are great for new players, and grinding FW risk-free, as well as giving some racial parity.
But the inability to customize makes the suits ensures that players can't stay in them permanently, which is a good thing.
If you want to customize a suit, go build one.
Who cares what some sniper has to say.
CCP, let's push for the license of Dust/Legion on both current Gen consoles!

APEX suit customization would be nice, but only if
customizable via weapon and module BPOs, and BPOs alone:
GåÆ pushes AUR spending for MLT module&weapon BPOs.
GåÆ puahes Gé¼/$ spending for veteran / elite packs to get STD weapon BPOs
GåÆ pushes AUR spending for APEX suits.
GåÆ customizable within limits of MLT/STD performance upheld.
GåÆ profit.
