Well... I have a theory. Look at Dusts current state: That thing is a good way to becoming a full P2W game. Monetization methods at every corner and I hear the game turns a profit for CCP. So my theory why CCP isn't telling us anything about Legion is, because they fear that people would stop buying Aurum for Dust if they did. I mean Dust is on the PS3 and it's more than obvious that it can't stay there forever. The PS4 is already 2 years old after all and at some point PS3s will start to break down with people not willing to buy a new one anymore or just not being able because the production stopped. But I doubt that CCP is willing to bury a cash cow.
So my guess is that CCP will continue to use Dust as some kind of experimental build for the next one or two years. After that they will start telling us a bit more about Legion again. As time goes by they will focus more and more on Legion and start laying out plans how to port over Dust characters. Then they will hold a press conference about how Dust was an exciting journey but that the time of the PS3 is coming to an end and that they think that this is the perfect time to make the switch to PC and Legion. And when we can finally play Legion I think it's a sur ebet to say that it will also feature the warbarge like we have it in Dust now with all the possibilities to spend Aurum. All the new Dropsuit BPOs won't be a problem at all when porting the characters over to Legion, as the Dropsuits will be BPOs in Legion anyways. They probably will have a special slot configuration and of course their special paint job which you can only get when you've played Dust, to appease the players who paid real money for that stuff.
So well. That's my guess. CCP isn't saying anything about Legion because Legion is dead, but because Dust is basically at the end of its line and they want to milk it as good as they can before it dies.

Maybe that you can pay real money for a 5% damage boost? Maybe that you can pay real money for BPOs which make sure that you don't lose money? Maybe that you can pay to increase your rank which gives you bonus SP, LP, iSk and so on? Or because you can pa ymoney to greatly increase the amount of SP you earn?

Yes, the more threads the better in my opinion. They only way to show the developers that their players are unhappy about the lack of legion information is the make more threads.
Cause a single 95 page thread about being unhappy that there is no information has about 1/95th of the impact that 95 1 page threads about it do. |

After the PR nightmare it is pretty clear why CCP is being tight lipped about Legion.
How many of the people spending money right now would still be doing so if they knew the game was going to PC in X amount of time? We as a community forced CCP to shut their mouths on Legion when we threw a **** fit after they tried to show us what they thought was a great step in the game. If only they had presented it in a different way we would be having a totally different conversation right now. |

2 years is too long a wait. Many games/consoles have come out that took players from dust cuz let's face it they just want to be playing next gen...ps4 port so I can play it on my vita too.

Or they've realized they aren't actually capable of delivering the finished product they advertised and are going to let it sit in limbo until Dust dies with the PS3 and they shut this site down and hope everyone forgets about it.
Even if it comes out, there's going to be serious competition on either platform. PS4 will have more shooter MMO's and on PC It will be no match for Star Citizen (if that's even pulled off). Which will probably blow EVE out of the virtual water in addition.

*skeptisium that SC is nothing more then vaporware off* Thats also because Star Citizen has had a 3 year head start on legion. Remember, Legion was not announced, in anyway till may of last year, so you have roughtly 1 year of work on legion, vs roughly 3 or 4 on SC.
I expect a bone tossed our way at ccp presents, with more info coming in the coming months. But we will see *on* |

^ CCP already has all the work they did with Dust 514 and if they stick with the heavily modified ue3 engine they said they were using for Legion which they were using for dust514 as well then development should be going much quicker.
Should Legion be on the ps4?

Weekly updates, videos, interviews showing the actual progress. Arena Commander and very soon the FPS module. The Player Test Universe. Ships being created and released on a regular basis. That's already metric shitload of more things to show than Legion's one ******* tech demo a year ago.
