Judging by the name "Scrambler Lance", which is the name of the Amarr Heavy Weapon in the works, I'm going to assume its a pulse laser like weapon like the ScR/ScP, not a beam laser like the Laser Rifle. Besides, the LR still needs variants, and we do still need Laser Light AV... Heavy AV won't cut it. We need a highly accessible Laser AV that everyone can use ASAP. There needs to be a real anti-shield presence on the field in this regard, not the occasional Heavy Laser weapon. Home at Last <3

Ah yes, the light av should be easier to use, easier to fit and do a lot more than the heavy av, because screw anyone that ever specced into heavy suits without the intention of mowing people down with a HMG. light infantry should do everything better! There's a highly accessible light shield av called a plasma cannon, yes it needs a buff for long range shots on vehicles, but at least it's there. Also, no one is stopping you from carrying flux grenades, the most harmful weapon known to shields everywhere.

Light Laser AV should have been here long ago. Defensive much? Because it would just be a variant of an already existing weapon. They don't need a new model like they do for the Scrambler Lance. They could implement an AV Laser Rifle overnight with a hotfix, if they ever got off their asses and stopped monetizing this game to death, while the Scrambled Lance takes more time.
