Hello there.
I think the title of the topic explains mostly everything about my suggestion but i'll try to go into details.
Duplicate\Copy Fit Function I think that, like me, every time people want to try new weapons or see the effect of a specific module, they create a new fit that is usually pretty close to the fits they were using before.
And, at the moment, you have to create a brand new fit and select every module. A "copy" function that would create an exact copy of the selected fit would be a quick way to create a variant of an existing fit.
It's a function that i think is not too hard to implement but could be very usefull.
"Personnal \ Corp" fit Function Suggested by Jaiden Longshot
This function is well known of EVE players. It allows you to save a fit and make it public to your corporation. This way, a tactical leader can create the Fits he wants his troops to be using. This would make battle preparation waaaaay easier.
Of course, you can still create private fits by registering them as "Personnal."
Fit Folders Suggested by Jenza Aranda in another topic
As we're all gonna have tons of different fits over time, It would be good thing to have the possibility to create folders in wich we could put our fittings. It would help a lot in battle as you would move between 4 or 5 categories instead of scrolling down all your fits list.
Rearrange fit Suggested by Bob Deorum in this topic
Obvious function to have : A way to "move" our fit in the list so we can choose in wich order they'll appear. This function would be compatible with the folder option as well. => Rearranging fits inside folders. Rearranging Folders themselves.
Like if you want those functions. |

What do you think guys ?
Yes this would be pretty useful, especially if you have several layouts you want to make for an assault suit and you wanted to keep the same defensive layout for your builds (provided you have the fitting requirements to keep parts the same of course).

In EvE you have the ability to save "Personal" and "Corp" fittings. Only you can see Personal but anyone in your Corp can see a fit you have saved as Corp.
Would VERY much like to see this in Dust 514. |
