If aim assist were to be taken off completely,how do you think games from this point on will be? will you die less often? less strafers because they may need to stay still and aim? more people moving to heavies because why not? I don't really use aim assist because I've gotten used to playing without it and if needed I'll use a mouse and keyboard if I really want to be accurate.
How many amarr does it take to change a light bulb? none. The minmatar do it for them

People with KBM would be the only ones able to strafe if AA was removed. People think they are hot **** strafing in a Min suit while getting high acc. They dont realize that because the game has given a lock to the hit detection, things that are supposed to cause spread and such dont happen anymore. |

Id be OP AF, cause i SG without aim assist most of the time, and there are very few (read: none) who can best me without auto aim.

How do you even mouse? Do you sit at a desk or put a table in front of you while you play DUST? Sounds uncomfortable as hell.

I take my keyboard off the pc and connect it to the ps3,I do have to sit close to the tv since I set my screen scale to 0

For people who don't, mouse is awful for aiming in cqc. Good for snipers and forge gunners, but when you're running around I a meat grinder, prepare to die because you can't hit strafers as easily as a controller with aim assist, and pixel skipping means you miss more often. And if you miss by even a millimetre, you miss. Aim assist users won't miss in that situation, so in a 1:1 strafey fight, the ds3 user will usually win.
With aim assist off, I'm pretty sure things between the two are more even. |

Aim assist is for scrubs, I've never used it.

Sadly with Dust, aim assist actually seems to improve hit detection. So playing without aim assist can be very, very aggravating.

Dude it's not really an assist. It just locks on to people for you. If you happen to be sitting still lighting a cig or whatever and a scout runs by you , your merc will automatically track him for a fair distance.

Aim assist doesn't just help with tracking. It improves hit detection. If you prefer 1/3 of your bullets not registering shut it off. |

The game would be like it was back in chrome, IIRC - back before the Uprising release there was no form of aim-assist. And hey KB/M was a lot more viable back then too! Shock Horror!
