Kind of hard to be tough and ruthless in a non existent game I think.

Youd think the project Legion announcement would have snapped people back to reality and clued them in to the dire straits this game is in.....but nah. Keep the status quo going, its done so much good for this game so far!

We are more interested in choking off the tiny stream of players this game gets so they will never have proto. We pretend there competitive game modes but really just farm those too.

Most corps have so much isk they could proto for life for themselves and other corps get money from your corp or corp leader or atleast run stard advanced or bpos in pubs to be semi fair to the new player base if u see a proto guy run take cover get some squad members and team up against him but dont have to run proto in pubs

And, at the moment, reality tells me this is a game that will never live up to its potential because its hobbled by the very people who think they will get the most out of it. Its simple logic. Things are either in growth or decline. If you ignore the decline too long, it eventually crashes and burns. All im saying is that the pervasive mentality of "take it or leave it" has resulted in many people opting for the latter, which puts us on borrowed time if we do nothing about it. If this was 1999, and you had one of the only Quake 3 Arena servers in my area that actually had players and that I could actually connect to....then yeah, youd be in a position to tell me to get lost if i dont like it. Its 2015, every player that gets told to get lost from Dust is like taking $$$ right out of the Dust development fund. What happens when we cost more then we make? Lights out!
