"Warlords" is proving to be a very appropriate name for where the Patch-progress has brought Dust, and for what new issues are beginning to be introduced in our gameplay.
A lot of EVE-Online is about the hunger for "wealth accumulation", and it works well because EVE has the whole P-v-E aspect to allow players to feed their industrious sides without detracting from the healthy thriving Spaceship Combat environment.
But EVE is EVE, and Dust is not quite the same. Dust's core is combat, and without a hunger for some kind of "victory accumulation", the game can't retain much of its "COMBAT" interest. GǪIt can easily become a kind of poor-person's "give blood for a little extra cash" version of EVE's industry aspect.
Dust arguably MUST have a running incentive to "shoot and destroy in order to own the facility" in its matches. And that incentive should even INCREASE as you step into FW and PC play until "win" becomes addictive.
ISK, LP, SP, Loyalty Standings, and now Salvage/Loot, are all the mechanisms the game needs to "control" the incentive to WIN each match.
GǪ.Are they being used the right ways, now that we have them all up and running?

Would it be an incentive if "salvage" of any kind in any match, is only activated when you get Victory in the match?

Would it be a good mild incentive to greatly increase your loot's Resale value as your Wins-to-Loss ratio increases, and actually put a Victories/Losses stat on your Assets menu?

Would it be helpful if we earned only Loadout Suits and Scrap parts, and militia items in Public Contract matches----and could only earn Decryptor Keys, Strongboxes, and Warbarge Components in FW matches?

How about if we only earn Decryptor Keys, Strongboxes and Components when we WIN FW matches, and don't get ANY salvage when we lose an FW match (which makes perfect sense in warGǪ)?

How about if the PC matches were the only match where your salvage includes captured Vehicles, and the largest payload of Decryptor Keys?

Is it possible to add a note in the "Defeat" screen at the end of FW and PC matches that says "Your weaponry and equipment has been collected by the enemy for their use",GǪ and give a list of the items being claimed by the opposing team that just beat you: (Garar's proto HMG, Madruger, Assault PCL, Quafe Lav, Adv Small Rail Turret, etcGǪ)
I think SP is the only item in the game that shouldn't be massaged too much for any incentive purposes (it's the core part of Dust's merc character grind)GǪbut all these other items can be moved around to make players drool to win matches, and drool to stop the opposing team from beating them.
