CCP look at all of the section on ideas for maps? I posted this a long time, but apparently mappers do not go there ... made it my friend, and I gave the plan. https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=184266&find=unread
I run on the new maps, and see that they are not qualitative. For example on a map of the tunnel, hangars weigh in the air, and I have no problem to climb to a texture hangar and kill players. I see that the idea is a good maps, but it is poorly implemented. It feels like mapper put hangar and did not look it. I understand that the new card - it's cool, but we must make them qualitatively and check every detail.
This is a big mistake gameplay I've seen! = D But I do not know whether it is fixed.

I make maps for 5 years. Visited many indie project, which did not come to light ... I myself can do bad model max3d or Blender. I can give you an idea, or create a map with ready-made models of the game. I gave myself a little time and UE3 UE4. The only thing I got is a map of 8 by 8 km for 770 people. And wants to leave of their own, to show himself, to see how people will appreciate it. The most painful - it's a long wait for a response from the CCP

Dust 514 does not currently hold any artists so the two new maps are actually made using recycled assets. Which is why they are poorly designed.
Put your flags up in the sky.

Lol, that was brilliant... Though my personal favourite bug is on one of the new sockets, where half the buildings don't load the full resolution model unless you're right next to them. So people can be inside staring out, while the other team can't see or shoot through the windows.
Same thing makes driving vehicles into the compound a complete hassle, as you will either crash into the unloaded road, or just get stuck there while it loads. |
