I enjoy mine. I've got the APEX MinAss and APEX AmScout and use both regularly. I also have the APEX GalHeavy but don't use it as I am not a forge gunner (it came with the pack I bought).

I got the Amarr Seraph just for the gold and black, to look sexy in the warbarge but CCP took off the ability to favorite the suit.

The opus is pretty good actually, and the dominus is pretty swanky.

for me the only one worth getting was the Nomad vX.1 from the profiteer pack (possibly removed now) other than that teh Dominus is a good Heavy suit, the min scout is fun and the shaymin is a great logi.
i wouldn't use AUR for any of the suits though. i'd rather spend a small amount of AUR on faction boosters and just grind the faction wanted and buy that way

APEX Dropsuits are a ripoff.
For 100k LP you can buy 645 PRO Suits, 1k PRO Weapons, or 392 PRO Suits and Weapons. With the 10mil ISK you can easily buy enough modules to fit the suit for a long time.
All of which are far more efficient than a PRO suit filled with nothing but STD gear.

Just rename it 1A-Name, the suit on top becomes your appearance I think.
