Do you ever feel bad after stomping noobish redberries(i don't use proto gear in pubs so at least I don't protostomp them).Just killed one guy 4 times in a row with ADV MLR-A HMG(only adv weapon I use in a game).Still,I can see that poor Minmatar commando go BLAP after 2 burst shots/score 4/12).I don't know whats worse,be protostomped or stomp someone else...

Sometimes yeah if it's a game where it seems like you got pitted against the graduating class of the BA, I'll swap to my quafe G1 and an exile.
Played a game 2 days ago and managed to kill the same kid 5 times over like a 2 min span, felt bad so I sent him some ISK at the end. Then played a dom yesterday where I ended up sitting in a rail turret 90% of the match and blapping their vehicles, after I trashed the third MLT HAV, same kind of tank in the exact same spot I caught the name... same kid... oops.

I feel bad sometimes because when I do, it's not helping player retention. Nobody likes losing battles and/or losing suits.
I've sent some ISK to people on the opposing team a couple of times too.
However, if it's someone I know who has plenty of ISK, that's when I breakout Mass Drivers and Flaylocks.

Alot of times I will feel bad for the new guys going 0/12 - 0/17 but putting up war points trying to help.
Sometimes I send them an email sayings its hard being new,,keep trying then I ship them a 1-2 million isk to help out. |

I feel responsible. It's just how I am. If I have knowledge it's my duty to share it. If my bluebs get stomped it's my fault. I have all the tools and try to utilize them. If 1 vs 16 turns into 2 vs 16 I am 100% effective.

It's sucks to stomp too.. Competing for the final shot on a poor sod... I am never in proto gear though, so some people can still kill me.

I got hate male from a redberry who apparantly was staying up late trying to get that ONE WIN FOR HIS KEY.
Our team was stomping HARD but it wasn't because we wanted to stomp them, they were just collateral because duna2002 decided to enter the match with 5 other tankers. Long story short... duna gets roadkilled while he is cloaked and eventually the tank spam stopped and we got back to normal gameplay and held all the points and won the match.
The redberry said F*** me and my whole team and now he has to go to bed in sore spirits, without his precious key :(
I sent him 1mil ISK and told him to smile :)
He called me a turkey and that was it...

Funny coming across this thread. I actually sent some kid money not long ago cause I seen he went 0/12 or something and I knew for a fact I contributed to half of those. I could imagine how bad of an experience he had and how its gotta deter people from the game.

If they are redlined I will charge a turret in the red line and hack it, Then try and gun down a group of goons,
The reds get a kill and they get to hack a turret back
I think I will start using my hawk scout,it has a massive scan range, so
I find where there are two reds and try and lure them closer to each other so they have a chance
on a related note I felt bad when I shotgunned a medic scout just as he finished reviving someone |

If I notice there are a lot of new players on the other team,I switch to the frontline suits. Then they have a chance on me plus it gives me a challenge and a clear conscience since I hate being stomped badly
How many amarr does it take to change a light bulb? none. The minmatar do it for them
