We send instructors to help train your soldiers and vice versa. Usually for Canadians it's a good cushy go as it's warm south...and when you Americans come up here its a bad go unless it's July or August. I assure you...and don't know how I can prove it....I am not just an Internet tough guy. :) I can back up everything I post here. You can look up my unit. Retire in april. Also. Now I know what YOU boast is false. Machine gunner is not a trade. It's a position one gets after being qualified a weapon and assigned it within his platoon. So. Let's say for example your trade is infantry. And within your platoon you were as you say. Assigned a machine gun. That makes you in a non leadership position. A grunt. I have no doubt in my mind now...you are either reservist. ...or somone who passed basic and then washed out and never deployed.
