Here is my standard ADS fit
Protofits
I know its an incubus with missiles but they're harder to ram
I know it doesn't have an afterburner, but since everything that can hit it has an armour profile i'll take the extra shields
My point is hotfix echo is going to kill it, therefore can I have some more CPU (so i can fit the PG upgrade) or PG (so I don't need the PG upgrade) to balance it out

Rattati has already mentioned that the Dropships might get a fitting buff to compensate as well as have certain skills reduce the fitting cost of fitting mods.
Oh, and never not use an afterburner. The best fit for an incubus, imo, is as follows:
Complex AB
Complex PG mod
Complex 120mm armor plate
Complex Light armor repair
Proto missile/rail
Requires armor fitting 4, but lvl 3 will let you use a lower tier AB.

I'm just not a fan of afterburners
But the reason I posted the thread is that, as you point out, most people consider the afterburner essential and therefore these fits are likely to be on Rattati's radar. I've shown how I fit the incubus so it can be considered when buffing the CPU/PG

I have PRO turrets on both hulls. Python has complex booster and afterburner, large enhanced extender.
Incubus has two reps, a plate and afterburner.
Would be nice to have everything PRO and complex, but infantry won't accept that.

can not fit that complex PG mods with the new changes due to the complex pg mods require 190 cpu
even with max skills your cpu will be 560 of 515 however with max skills you can just barely put an enhanced PG mod
the funny thing is most Myron and Grimsnes will be the ones who are hurting after this hotfix unless CCP comes out with a light cpu & pg mods for dropships and of course LAVs |

However, things are going to become more difficult for DS anyhow because the increased slot count on HAVs means more railguns with damage mods are going to be around. But I'm willing to wait-and-see before we make any rash changes. |
