Has anyone here played Mechwarrior 4? If you have, maybe you can guess what I'm about to say.
Flares. Back in MW4 if you had someone lock on to you with LRM's (that's Long Ranged Missles for you uninitated folks) you could use a flare to draw them away from you if you bothered to slot them on your mech. Why don't tankers have these? Hell why don't we have Chaff grenades to mess with TACNET? Pilots complain (somewhat rightfully so) about swarms, so let's give them a useful yet limited countermeasure. Both of these things would add a depth to the AV vs Vehicle scenario.

I seem to recall we were going to have them back in Chromosome, and then Blam! turned out to be Blam!, and lost his job.
And then we had no-one working on tanks for like seven or eight months.
And now we can't get new content.
And now we can't get flares.
Guys, we need to stop calling MU a 'matchmaker' when it's actually a 'teambuilder'.
And I want to play FE:A now. Damn.

Bruh I'm an AV guy. It's not like a flare is going to stop every swarm that comes their way. You'd need to fire off one for each volley and you'd burn (no pun intended) through them awfully fast.

You just named like 40% of the total mods vehicles have available to them. That's not nearly enough for us to have any variety in fittings

so your problem is not av, just not enough tank stuff? i think theyre fixing that next update but who really knows.

Yes they are fixing that when the tank rebalance comes out. You should probably go check around before you talk about stuff you know nothing about =ƒÿò
