I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the idea of a Heavy Flaylock/Boltpistol/Nova Knife.

Lol, My point exactly! And it would rightfully give place for/bring to pass everyone's desire to have Nova swords! Except they'll only be on Heavys. With all the light weapons going around and only TWO heavy weapons since the game began I think some variety is in order! |

Heavy Flaylock is Ass Driver
Heavy SCP is SCR
Heavy IoP is TAR
Heavy SMG is ACR
Heavy Magsex is Rail Rifle
Heavy Knives is Commando Fisting
New sidearm variations? Sure. Bigger guns for the suit that already has the biggest guns available on dropsuits?
May as well make the 'Black Eagle' assault rifle purchasable for ISK. |

You're apparently a light weapon user given your response. You're not thinking of what is and what could be. In reality the sidearm IS a light sidearm made for smaller suits with less grit. Have you not paid any attention to how awkward a Sentinel looks holding such a tiny weapon? There should be a bigger sidearm variant. What you basically said is that you dont think CCP should incorporate new play-styles to the game and keep it "stagnant or safe" because it is where you like it. I play this game only because it has the POTENTIAL to be the Best most Epic game ever made! In its scope I see a bright future for it but that takes time. Dream a little will ya. |

There's no such thing as "light sidearm" weapons. A sidearm is a sidearm. Its a lighter class weapon than light weapons. A weight class up would be a light weapon and a heavy with a heavy weapon and a light weapon would be absurd. Additionally, carrying a heavier secondary weapon would make heavies slower than they already are. Sorry but this is not a very good idea
