I Confirm that buying AUR does not grant loyalty ranking points.
Reporting that as a bug.
Because, either the Loyalty gain is bugging,
OR
there is a bug (typo) in the text.
One or the other should be fixed.

Please reread the text IN GAME:
"Increase your Loyalty Rank through various engagements such as logging in, fighting and winning battles, accumulating, purchasing and using Aurum."
So there is the discrepancy.
Either fix the text or the other thing.

just like it says, the and in there means you have to do both.
just buying aurum is the first half.
spending the aurum is the second half.
if only one of those were required they would have not put the "and" in there.
also play as Strangeland Stranger (Gal),
Gauntlett5487 (Cal),
and Larlac Theest (Min)

mmkay. That is possible.
it can be read like that.
But in that case it is still misleading.
Besides, how about if someone would gain AUR thru other means?
AFAIK there has been only on other method, a single time event.
