If you look at it through the lore, a Logistics would have to be versed in all of the equipment and understand how to make it function at it's best. Doing this while in the heat of battle? That takes a lot of patience, practice, and perseverance.
Right now though, Logis are the least capable at offensives, which is kinda how it should be. They make much better defenders but of course people need logis on the field to keep them sharp and on their toes as well. Logis, even when they were SlayerLogis, are hands down the most under-appreciated class out there. It doesn't just take a needle and a rep tool to be one and a lot of players get that confused.

You guys are crazy. Whenever I solo I run only a logi and support whatever random blues I see in need of support. I just don't risk anything for them. If they want to run off like idiots I let em go die.

What are you people on? Logi is by far the easiest to do solo. Find a group, stick to them, rep them, rev them, throw hives and links (or links if you're not running proto). I ran solo Logi the other day in my Logibro, went 4000wp without dying once.
Logi's the easiest Imo. To me, heavy's the hardest. If there's no Logi around and you get swarmed, it's over.

I wouldn't say logi is the easiest, however I really think commandos are harder to run because of their lack of survivability (except if you're sniping of course). And that's why they need a buff to ewar and speed. In terms of combat effectiveness they're fine, however they don't have enough speed/tank to survive when surprised, and as they're the blindest suits, they're super easy to flank even with a sentinel |

For me in terms of easiest to hardest;
Logi (Seriously...)
Scout (Lots of speed)
Assault (Better than commando because of speed)
Commando (Killing power is good, but unless you turn often....dead)
Heavy. (Relies on friendly teamwork and lack of enemy teamwork far too much)

My GalLogi does fine solo. Any of my Scouts are capable too. My Min and AmAsses are pretty damn good as well. My AmSent is decent if I stick to an enclosed area....
I don't know, they're all pretty even. I have yet to give Commandos a try, but I'm sure they can handle their own. |

Not just any logi, but the caldari logi. Amarr got links, gal got scans, and minmatar can rep anything
When i'm in my cal logi running around with ammo hives that every suit already carries with them

Nah heavy is the easiest, you can sit in a corner on 5 triarge hives and 5 ammo hives with maxed plates and shields with a hmg and a logi repairing you.

Depends on what you expect to achieve running solo. Kills? High wp? Both? Wins? Good KD? Impact on the match as a whole?
I run a solo logi, it isn't hard to stay alive, kill when needed, save a few lives and have an impact on the match all at once. For me I usually have the most difficulty running a solo heavy, all that hp doesn't mean a thing without someone to patch you up or watch your 6.

Toss down one of those allotek or wyrkomi hives in a nice spot for the fat boys. Caldari is the most impractical logi as of right now I do agree though, that's why I specced my logi alt back into Amarr.

If I solo assault I would do more fighting, and fighting teams solo is hard, You shoot a guy up and he is replaced by a fresh one,

Commando by far, with logi coming in second. They both rely on the team to do well, and we know that doesn't work out 4/5 times. Assault comes in third with heavy and scout being equally easy.

Yeah, but all those equipment slots and (used to have) extra high/slows.
I remember back in the day I could slay with a CalLogi, with RE's, AScR, Scanner, and Nanohives.
