It was ages ago so my memory may be wrong but when the Scrambler Rifle came out it was the only other rifle besides the Plasma Rifle and it's variants.
The Combat Rifle and Rail Rifles were the last two rifles to come out to complete full rifle racial parity and they were delayed twice because they couldn't get them where they wanted.
This causes me to believe that the Scrambler Rifle took the same route as the early plasma rifle and only came with one model. They may have just never got around to changing it and or there was no reason for them to see to change it.

Probably because it's a laser weapon and you need the accuracy at long ranges.

Thanks. I end up trying charged shot in ADS when using the Assault haha.

In closed beta AR had a scope....you should ask yourself "why do weapons have an iron sight 20.000 years in the future" ,you ****, and stop whining. |

Please forgive me for wanting variety.
Also when using an Assault Rifle/ rail rifle Vs the Tactical counterparts you can tell the difference its very profound
But at least with the Combat rifle VS the Assault combat rifle the ADS at least shows a difference.

A red dot sight is not the same as an actual scope (ACOG).
