 Not intending to poop-a-party by saying this,GǪ but I wouldn't like to see PS3 players passing ANY money for our items to each other.
I'm hoping "Simple Trading" turns out to be just simple barter TRADING (I agree to give Celesta 4 advanced cannons for her 20 F90 Explosives). Between mercs, we should be able to haggle/barter goods (it's a TON more fun than cash, and can create some rocking-good arguments and fever-pitches).
As a sister-mechanic to this, I'm hoping the "Gear Re-Sale" we currently have gets expanded with more ways to boost the re-sale percentage (like adding other Jara-type agents sometimes offering higher/lower % than what Jara may offer), to create a mini 'stock market' feel to our slightly boring "just sell off what I can't use" routine.
That's TWO active systems, not just one. 
One for getting Item-only profit (no ISK) directly from players, and the other for getting ISK deals from the NPCs.
I think this "trading" should be created as one more thing that we are able to do IN-game, that EVE-Online CAN'T do in their game (GǪI think they use some sort of out-of-game social network of their own making to accomplish this.)
Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne...
