I've had some chats with other people who play logis and there's been a bit of a consensus that apex logistics suits aren't able to really 'function' with some of the equipment that they have, and that in plenty of cases the bare minimum standard for being 'useful' in a logistics role is to have an advanced piece of 'primary' equipment.
Caldari 'kampo' logistics suffer from the low nanite counts on basic nanohives and could really use a k2
Gallente 'chiron' logistics are probably the worst off of the bunch with a scanner that cannot detect medium frames who have a single level of dampening.
Amarr 'seraph' logis can get the job done, but the 'opus' has the exact same equipment as them and is more survivable.
Minmatar 'shaman' logi's do well enough with a basic repair too, but as their primary function is repairing they should be at least given an advanced rep tool.

Give aur suit bearers the option to upgrade their suits to the ADV fittings at faction level 7-8
No, this should be applied to all of the apex suits: adv equipment of the type the suit gets an actual bonus to.

How would this not spark more P2W screaming? If you put them on the LP suits but allow a cheap upgrade after a rep grind you avoid the argument entirely, and we actually have a better solution that rewards playing the game over opening the wallet. Ay no point should aurum buy advanced bpo copies of ANYTHING.
They can't be removed from suit, I don't see how it causes problems.
