Every time I'm in engaged in a point offense, the many many blues stood around me fail to see the scout run past, throw an RE, and blow us all up.
It's only ever in that situation though, if I'm not blapping someone in the face, I usually see said scout and blap them instead.
My point?
More people need to start taking stock of their 360. I know for a fact that when a heavy sees my up-close scout, it's curtains for me.
It's applicable to more shooters than Dust though, so how do these people even pick up the control to play?
Think of it this way, if everyone started looking around more, we'd be technically nerfing scouts!

Blueberries are blueberries. They can hold guns, barely, and they can walk around, barely, but they don't operate on the same level as you and me. They can't multitask, nor are they actually capable in battle.

Not the blueberries fault that running and jumping makes scouts bulletproof. Why do you think the scout did that anyway?

When on the same team it still seems like we are competing. I watch alot of scouts kill greedy people. I would kill them if my guns worked properly. Most times I have to wait until they are counter hacking. I seen one setting a trap, I cooked my grenade and tried to blow him up. In the kill feed it said remote explosive. I'm not even skilled into them. It must have been his own. |

My gear is not capable yet. I've done really well in other games. Situational and local awareness is great. If you can't kill someone you get the jump on its a whole different story. |

Jumping does not make anything bulletproof. Scout jumps, *blap* "Edau Skir2 (Breach Scrambler Pistol) -Jumpy Scout-"

o_O You can kill most tho if you have the initiative, aka getting the jump on them. Aiming at their head, or whatever weakness your weapon is built to take advantage of, and take them down when they realize it. Running just militia fits should make you capable.

I have emptied almost an entire clip of advanced scrambler pistol into a jumping medium frame and did zero damage. He was jumping away from me though. Bullets were just bouncing off, and I was using either the regular scrambler or assault so it should have more range. If a scout is jumping at you and you time it right then yes you get them but if a suit is dancing in the air by jumping repeatedly, I think the game is unable to read if the suit is in the air or on the ground

I have often wondered the same. I think is more a dependency on scanners. They make you lazy. Players focus on all the red lit up on the screen. I always laugh a little when people talk about situational awareness with the way active scanners work.
I would rather look bad and win, than look good and lose.

You fail to understand the context of this product. It is a video game on a TV screen that is being piped through a server. The delayed graphics, sound and hit registration alone makes it where anything one could react to has already happened a second or so ago. Not to mention I'm hardly going to get good with a console game at this stage anyway. Runny jumpy shooty crap. Grow up child.
Death is a serious business. So is running a shoddy, half-baked game company.

The blueberry is a fascinating creature. It's fully capable of hitting the enemy once they're low enough to be one shotted, but they cannot hit the broadside of an MCC if the enemy has any health and is attacking you.
My theory is that the blueberries have evolved through protostomper evolutionary pressure. See, protostompers tend to kill everyone and leave nothing for the blueberries, making them starve for ISK and WP, and eventually die out. Those who figured out that getting the last shot in can at least give them a chance at a kill, have survived and thrived. They also figured out that letting fellow protostompers fall to enemy fire gives them a window to attempt to secure a few kills themselves while said protostomper tries to respawn.
In the span of 2 years we have witnessed evolutionary pressures from a small colony of proto creatures shape and form the next generations of an entire species, changing their very nature from helpful to downright parasitic. Amazing.

Battlefield awareness is op, just as much as having none makes any suit up.
I couldn't count how many reds iv literally ran past shot their fellow reds turn round and blapped them as well. I do agree that if red and blueberries actually developed decent battlefield awareness then scouts are surely done for.

To expand on this. They are blue for a reason. They are usually not in squad and cannot hear call outs. They lack even the common sense to look behind themselves when they have noone to watch their back.
If blueberries graduate to green beans the world gets much better for everyone. I've been told our comms are highly educational. In the course of one match they learn N stands for north. The ranges of the circles. When to push and when to hold. Why. And tons of useful fitting and skill info. Most importantly to STFU unless they have a pertinent fact about the current battle.
Who wants some?

This is the sad truth,This is a game of mercenaries and mercs are selfish. If CCP wants to promote the game as a team game then they should. Like I have said, I can run in an entire match with a proximity scanner and scan repeatedly and save my team from getting blasted by remotes and get blapped in the back by a scout but I get zero WP Most of the times your teammates watch you get killed so that either your killer gets softened for them to finish or you die so they can hack the installation.
I personally think that the losing team should get a ridiculously low payout so that players focus more on winning instead of Kill Death Ratio.
And to Edau and the rest. " I am sure that you are one of those proto suits that let me get killed so you can sneak up and kill my killer when he is reloading" Then you come here and tell me to get good or git gud pfftt . Screw you I will sue you for all your ISK RATATATATATATA
