I know a few people who tried, but gave up after 120-140k aurum
Edit : that got them to level 3/4 in everything

i think someone in another thread did a math thingymejig on it and came to 3200/3500 dollares.
So i seen no sensible reason for someone to do it.
Maybe a sultan will, but i think even he will spill tea on his camel when he sees the benefits.
i know i'll just wait here for the components.

the pricing is too high for a "speed up" to be worth it, and it's only marginally worth collecting the components for it.
And we have only 5/14 subsystems in play.

It's going to be a long fcking wait. To upgrade the component factory from lvl 2 to lvl 3 it's going to take around 2,000 components (not counting the components needed to upgrade the WB itself) which is an increase of around 600% and if that's the trend then I can tell it's going to be a few years.

Another stupid part is how we don't even get to chose which ******* subsystem we want. Warbarge Level 2? You aautomatically get the stupid market connection thingy. I don't need even more ******* ISK. I'm sitting on 130 Million currently and don't see how I will ever burn through that, as I'm only using free or cheap suits. I want the SP thing.

a guy from capital acquisition (Slim Something) said he maxed out warbage with aurum from when the 200k and bpo packs where on sale.
if people pay 3k for warbarge good. somebody has to put money into game to keep it running. everybody will get there if they keep playing anyway
