Support your team from a distance at all possible times if you're playing Solo, no need to die for them dying solo doesn't help much either since you can't communicate with the team anyways. Stay alive, keep shooting to make sure you keep as many of your teammates alive as possible. If you're not a logi you could do just fine as a commando with an AV weapon and a weapon to push back infantry.

I do from time to time, but all that ends up happening is all of my blues die, and when you are the only target in the area, you are the PRIMARY target in the area. I do better when I kite the edges or look for holes in their defense and exploit them, but thats not all that effective either. I have no interest in cramming myself into a chat channel with 5 other people just to be able to enjoy a game I've played for nearly 3 years. I have no love for crowded coms or people yelling over eachother. I no longer have the patience for 1 out of every 8 games being semi balanced.

CCP, if the 2+ years I've played your game doesn't constitute the SoonGäó that you promised balanced matches in, what length of time are you expecting me to wait? How long until I can hop into a match and at least 50% of the time it not be a one sided stomp? And lastly, WHY THE HELL DO YOU KEEP PUTTING 1 & 2 MAN SQUADS ON THE SIDE AGAINST FULL SQUADS OF PEOPLE?

Not going to lie, that just looked like a string of bad decisions on your part.

You didn't have to get butthurt about the tank, you could have ignored it. Tanks for me most of the time i can literally ignore and never even have to deal with.

Looks like you went full Rtard but we all do it sometimes lol. You attacked a turret that was being operated so firing on it pissed it off when the guy hopped off and you also had a tank laughing at you as well so that was basically a 3v1 situation.

Now let me tell you a tale of drunken idiocy, it's very vague though.

I was playing with some buddies and drunk as fk. Every match we had that was complete fail i kept going at it and saying "come on guys we can do it, we can still do it" even when we so blatantly couldn't.

Anyway the next day i logged on and had spent about 2 million sp on bullsht i didn't want, wasted about 50 million isk, died about 600 times and wasted about 50 aurum tanks lol. I'd also done pc and couldn't remember but i had a vivid memory of spamming ds and getting shot down and running around spraying and getting gangked.

I'd like to say the tank comment was just an example pulled from the ether, but as I have had a long running hatred of all vehicles (Codex forever ended any hope I had of ignoring a vehicle that killed me) that particular one is somewhat real. Except the full story was much longer and wouldn't fit the bullet point presentation I portrayed my average match in.

Basically it was the original bridge map (the one where the city always changes, not the gallente bridge map). Tank was under the MCC, it shot me off of the pyrimid at E as I was hacking the CRU, hacked it before I died and respawned on it, ran off the side, hacked the turret at the bottom so it would autofire on the tank if it got too close and ran after the tank. Had to stop and turn around after firing off the first volley as the turret was rehacked as I was climbing the hill, shooting at me as I headed back. The rest played out about the same as written though. Turret camper had a heavy there to cover him, tanker saw the opportunity.


All that said, I cannot be blamed for not seeing an RE on an uplink, a shotty camping another one, nor the heavy in the LAV. Nor my team sucking and getting rolled all around me.


And THAT said, I've been known for going full ****** on a regular basis. You give me a bit of cover and plenty of ammo, and I will hold a position solo until I'm either flanked or rushed and killed, no matter how many people may be there. It occasionally pays off... very occasionally. I'm also really bad about rushing into people. Used to be ok pre-release. Now, unless you're using a modded controller or you're a scout with RE's (I refuse to do either), it's kinda pointless to try unless they just suck.


AND THAT said, I probably drink too much when I play. It's amazing I'm not broke in fact. One time I bought 200 Incubus' just to see how far out into the redline I could fly in every direction off of every map.... And then used the remaining ones to see how long I could stay airborne while flying upside down....

Hahaha quality.

Spawn in a fully dampened proto scout suit with a cloak and go hack stuff, drop uplinks, and kill off stragglers...

You'd be surprised that you can get 1500+ WP, 10 or so kills with 0 deaths, and end the match at the top of the leaderboard without having done much at all....

So here's how I see Dust when not running with at least 4 people

*spawns free suit to test latency and team balance*

Oh look, I'm on a 3 point map and we only have the nearest objective. I'll run to the other side.

*get's rail sniped from opposing redline by Gunloggi*

Oh, **** you buddy, your ass is mine

*spawns AV*

*after dying 2 times to infantry while trying to reach said tank, finally get's close enough to lock on*

*fires one swarm volley*

*tank speeds backwards into the redline*

**** you, you're not getting away that easily!

*runs into redline after tank, starts seeing rail rounds landing around me*

*sees red instalation just inside the redline firing at me*

Ok, you're first, then that tank!

*runs up to installation, starts firefight with turret camper*

*heavy friend of turret camper walks out from behind installation*

*tank comes out of redline, starts shooting at me with front small rail turret*

*respawns anti-infantry feeling defeated and useless, only to be blown up by an RE on the uplink spawned on*

*respawns only to get shotgunned upon spawning*

*respawns in redline tired of the stupidity, walks all the way to the field and a red LAV pulls up, out pops a heavy*

*respawns with the bulk of the team, gets run over by 3-4 protosuits at a time for the rest of the match*

I think I may be very close to being over this game despite the amount of time and money I've put into it... When the average game plays out with constant stupidity, it's too much like work to keep playing. 2.5 years of this **** might just be all I've got in me.
