In order of importance (more or less):
Whatever the FC says, transport for whoever you're told to transport, link destruction, threaten vehicles, kill people.
Honestly it comes down to recognizing what needs done and doing it as soon as possible. Recognize threats before they're a problem (1 link could be a whole squad or forge gunner in a second).

I kinda like the fit... But don't at the same time.
I get the use of shield boost... But i never chose to boost + ab before.
If i ever boost, i should be omw out the area by then. But that's personal preference. It's not a bad fit. squeezing an XT isn't possible unless you step down to enh boost Or ab I believe.
Get familiar with it! That's all i can say

One more thing, train both Pythons and Incubi. Pythons are your go to AI, but they get destroyed by Incubi pretty easily. Incubus is the best AV platform in the game imo as well as a tanky missile AI. Get armor 5, armor fitting and rep to 4-5, and armor comp 5 (makes it fly almost as well as a Python with a complex 120mm plate).

1. Call in ADS
2. Shoot at null cannons to make them target you
3. Fly away; those null cannons get really mean when angered
4. Don't try shooting at infantry: crush them with your ship instead
5. To kill tanks, hover above them, then exit dropship. The explosion should kill you, and let the tank know you mean business.
