I got 1 gastuns on a character who can't use it. Also, I laughed really hard at getting the Myron that isn't usable.
If you go back and watch my first who 2 videos where I opened keys, and you will see that I didn't do much better. I felt like I pretty much got garbage, and that I pretty much always get garbage when I open these boxes. Yes, there is a decent amount of proto gear in there, but mentally, I have it lumped in with the other garbage.
I haven't seen any other large samples of box openings, so I have nothing to compare it to at the moment. But my guess is everybody is getting the same amount of garbage that I am.
If you you bought this many key in 10 packs, this would be about 30k worth of AURUM used. In my case, these keys were farmed during the event. What I have seen here would certainly not compel me to spend any amount of Aurum on boxes in the future.
Bottom line, if CCP wants to make these items attractive for purchase, they are going to need to increase the drop-rate of items people care about, or decrease the AURUM cost significantly.

We're paying real money for them. They need to be awesome by default, and possibly epic by chance.
Something like that would be awesome. Of course boxes open individually, not in 10 packs. But if we figure out something like a super key that opens 10 boxes at once with this formula you suggested, then folks might give a Frack again.

Ouch ya that would have been nice to know. Glad I at least saved a handful. I feel like I am lacking a certain awareness of where the devs talk about things.
