I've played for going on 2 years so I've got some experience under my belt but I've fallen victim to proto stomping myself in ambush and have received isk but no sp. It blew my mind! I've had crappy games but several where I just got stomped and no reward? Meanwhile you actually suggest based on your opinion of what is it isn't good that people get no reward? Uh huh yeah that will keep a player base and ensure new players bring more lifeblood into the game. Now in ambush you orob won't see mne rock much if anything in that mode but a loyalty suit because of the try hards. I'm not saying these people are smart, i'm not saying they should learn. I'm just saying its harder for them.(besides if these people aren't in the ambush then stomps would not occur, then all the stompers in ambush would move over to skirm and dom and nobody wants that)

For years, Ambush has been proto squads or coordinated squads. Something not friendly for a solo player. Instead of 'git gud', it's actually 'git squad'. Thank god for CCP Rattati!! How can you be so bad? I have played an Ambush Match before where I was the only person on my team able to kill someone. This doesn't mean the other 15 people on my team were garbage (maybe 1/2 of them). A lot of people try to point out how easy it is to get 150 WP in a 50 person Ambush match with no installations to hack but no one considers the limitations placed on the Frontline Starter Suits, which most new players use, and the difficulty it is to get 150 WP with that suit during a protostomp (Frontline has no equipment). Before this WP limitation I used to hop into Ambush matches with the Frontline Suit for the purpose of acquiring easy ISK without losing anything every time I die. I did this up until 1 match last week in which I was protostomped and if it weren't for a kill assist I received at the very last second of the match I would not have made the 150 WP limit. That was too close of a call for me and now I am not running Frontline in Ambush Matches. New players don't have the option of running other suits and limiting how much SP they can earn will only make it harder for them to skill up into better suits. Also, no one should consider kill assists when determining how easy or difficult it is to reach the 150 WP mark since a kill assist requires the effort of another player. For one's success to be dependent so heavily on others is bullshit.

You clearly ran around repping people who were getting blasted away and that is why you got so many WPs. According to your logic everyone should be running around as a logi repping people. Get yourself an Assault Suit and actually go into battle with a protostomp and lets see you get 3000 WP.

A bad uplink at the start of a 50 man ambush can be devastating for the entire team, especially if you are cornered. the get good mentality does not fix the broken mechanic called smart deploy. I do however agree that a vet should in most cases be able to earn 150wp .
