Been freezing almost every day for the past week or so and finally decided to delete (And reinstall) Dust, but I keep thinking back to the old days when deleting a game meant losing everything. The music doesn't help, all I can think about is 45 million SP down the drain for some random reason, another glitch CCP forgot to fix... *Shudders*
I want to punch.

You're worried that you'd lose your character data?
Well don't be.
First off; Dust character data is all server side.
Secondly; even if it wasn't, you'd have to delete the actual save file on your PS3, not the game itself.
You're good man! You're good!

You're good man! You're good! I have deleted (including the save file) and reinstalled Dust 3 times in the 2+ years I have been playing. My character still lives on! I did it once for Uprising 1.0, 1.6, and 1.9. Once my file size gets over 3ish GB, I usually rock a freshie.

The sound glitches shall never cease... unless you have your speaker volume control right next to your chair, then it goes away easily~

Your data is stored on the Tranquility server, so you could even use your DUST char from a different PS3.

Already reinstalled and playing again, definitely have no intention of leaving Dust, Pocket, just wanted to stop the blasted freezing so I could cut back the Dust Rage.

Actually, you're not that far off! Some generations of PS3's have solder problems around the graphics processor and motherboard that actually cause heat buildup to the point of rendering the system unusable. This is one of the most common reasons for the "Yellow Light Of Death". DUST is a pretty taxing game on the hardware, and I've read multiple accounts on here of players with PS3's that DUST has basically melted.
Dust can be frustrating. (Gò»°Gûí°)Gò»n+¦ Gö+GöüGö+)
