CCP ramp up the pressure on Microsoft. As you originally intended, Dust/Legions is definitely best suited as a cross-platform console shooter. You reach the largest FPS player base. I understand the deal fell through the first time, but Dust has come a long way since then. Another thing you could capitalize on is the massive absence of good games on the new consoles. A lot of people are disappointed with the selection of shooter games available, combine that with the cross-platform hype and take all the people.who are sick of buying Halo and BF4 map pack updates every few months and I think Dust would be hugely popular. Endless marketing opportunities here as well. As the first cross-platform shooter, you'd get the monopoly on this type of hype. Console fanboys would drool at the chance to kill other console users and prove they're better. You could also offer console specific dropsuits and gear. This would definitely be best case scenario for The future of this game IMO, but I suppose it depends on Microsoft like it did last time. Maybe it's just a pipe-dream, but I think CCP/The community should push for it either way. There a lot of people holding off on buying new consoles until better games come out (including myself) I'd buy a PS4 tomorrow if this game were to be cross platform. Who cares what some sniper has to say

Rebranding it as Legion won't save it if it has a similar level of quality if it ever gets green lit. Which, given the performance of Shanghai since Rattati took over, it won't.
